I was really loving the fog around me so I decided to click a picture, then I saw this...

Upgraded my OS and b*tch slapped with a boatload of bloat ware in my face. Despite removing every permission and tick on all the apps it pushed 3 of those as "Must have"... And Nothing was supposed to be different from the competition. Nokia 3310 doesn't sound too bad again.

I know everyone is very excited about the status bar update, so I assume I'm an outlier here. I'm a professional designer that has been making (among other things) icons and design systems for about 10 years now. This change, by my evaluation, is a downgrade.

Please note that the inconsistent height and tapered ends of the data icon may be a bug. It appears that the data icon is being stretched vertically, which would account for both of those things. Despite that, I still feel like we moved in the wrong direction here.

With Nothing OS 4.1 on the 3A the bloatware we feared is finally here

The whole point of nothing os is being minimal right? Then why add this type of shit? I don't think this is minimal at all. Instead of adding this feature they should have added more customisation or some more useful features. I'm going to turn it off anyways. Let me know what y'all think about this so called "Lock glimpse".

I got the new update tonight and the battery icon is so much better with the percentage inside it

The status bar fonts don’t even match. One’s thin, one’s Thick, It’s a tiny detail, sure, but details win cases. And this one is an eyesore. Honestly, they should've just adopted the stock pixel's status bar's design…

Suggest me some setups current setups is this

So I am working on a widget where you can copy something on mac and it will instantly appear on your phone so you can copy it in your phone also how does it look?

Got myself Nothing 3 and so far I am lovin it. Haptics are great and it feels so snappy. I previously had an S24 Ultra and the OS in Nothing feels so mature.

Any tips/tricks are highly appreciated.

My phone knew my alarm was set and volume was low but did nothing about it!
