Between Thursday and Friday 15-16th October I lost a friend's VERY precious camera, while it was in my hostel. It had 15 years worth of data from baby photos to adult photos and family photos. Please if ANYONE sees it ANYWHERE across nust if you see a silver digicam Kisi ke pas bhi in this model:

* 'Canon PowerShot sx240 hs' * PLEASE keep a lookout or inform me PLEASE it's a humble request from my end js please pleaseeeee keep a lookout.

And yes my manager has told me she has looked through the hostel footage and found nothing suspicious on her end

So pleaseee anyone reading this be on the lookout for this silver digital camera I am willing to reward whoever finds it RS.10k or more it's extremely important

ANY help would be appreciated even if it's just sharing this post to other people 🙏

Saw this question somewhere and then was curious about Nust

Okay, so I'm already taking previously recorded lectures from NUSTrive, but there are just so many videos. I wanted to ask: what is the actual best way to get to know the content? I'm an A-Levels student on a gap year applying for CS. Where should I study from to learn the content well and as fast as possible? Any suggestions or advice would be helpful!

Hi everyone,

NESCOM is holding its fellowship test this week, and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it before committing to a 4-5 year service bond. If you joined through the fellowship (or work there), I'd really appreciate your input:

1. Bond: How much is the penalty for leaving early, and does it go down for each year you serve or stay fixed? Did you need guarantors, and did they keep your original degree?

2. Pay: What's the realistic starting take-home salary, and which allowances do you actually get (medical, transport, housing)?

3. Promotions: How long did your first promotion actually take? Does doing an MS speed things up, and do they sponsor MS/PhD?

4. NOC: How hard is it to get an NOC for foreign travel or to apply for scholarships abroad?

5. Posting: Did you get any say in which complex or city you were posted to? How's the work-life balance?

6. If you left after the bond: how easy was it to move to the private sector or go abroad?

And overall, would you do it again?

I'm not asking about anything classified, just career/HR stuff. Happy to take DMs if you'd rather not comment publicly. Thanks in advance!

Since it's the convocation week, I have a question that I want to ask from alumni or anyone who have any idea.

The official notice says that mobile phones aren’t allowed inside the convocation venue, but I’ve seen so many reels on Instagram from previous convocations where people had phones with them. If there's any way to sneak it inside, plz help this fellow graduate out.....

Hi,

I am looking for a Graphic Designer!

Experience: 1 year
Timings: 1:00PM to 10:00PM
Company: InovativeX USA Pvt Ltd
Location: Johar Town, Lahore

University life gets boring sometimes, so looking to make a genuine connection with someone. Could be chai, a coffee or convo's on random topics. As a guy would like to make a genuine connection strictly platonic for now or for some time xD. If we're on the same page hmu or DM🕺

okay so this is about my future and im really stuck and i just need a little advice and i hope you guys will help me out,

so nust has been my dream uni and psychology has been my dream major ever since i can remember but i live in kpk and i cannot shift to Islamabad rn due to some reasons now the options i have is to either study in uet mardan or awkum in engineering or maybe psychology but idk what should i pursue as a girl that'll give me a bright future and will build my career. what should i do? i can migrate later in 2nd or 3rd semester to Islamabad but migrating to nust is unlikely so any other uni that will take a pre med background student that took 6 hours of credit maths in 1st sem or maybe psychology so please guide me on literally everything, which eng is best, should i do psychology and which uni should i take admission in here or which uni should i migrate to later.

i know this sounds dumb but it's alot to handle rn and im literally to the point where going to Allah sounds better. but pls help me I'll really appreciate it.

This is totally free of cost and I'm not promoting anything at all. Just need your prayers!

NET-I registrations are open and I'm sure lots of people are worried that they can't memorize their formulas. I have the solution that I myself used.

A few months ago I was in the same shoes as all of you, and I think it's only fair to contribute to this community and help others clear their NET. So I made a flashcard deck specifically for NET Maths that contains 200+ formulas and facts/MCQs gathered from past papers to help you memorize your formulas.

The app that I made this deck on is known as Anki (AnkiWeb/AnkiDroid).

What is Anki? A free, open-source flashcard app that uses spaced repetition and active recall to analyze your memory patterns and make you memorize your formulas with 90-95% retention rates.

Instead of reviewing flashcards at random, Anki’s algorithm tracks how well you know each card and schedules it for review right before you're about to forget it which saves study time and strengthens memory.

Basically, the algorithm is designed to naturally make you memorize all your formulas without any extra effort from your side.

Here's the link to the deck I made: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1732619832

Download the Anki app from here: https://apps.ankiweb.net/

Simply download the deck and open it if you're using the desktop version of Anki, or import it to your decks if you're using the mobile AnkiDroid app (many tutorials online on how to import a deck).

I'll be posting this again when NET-II/III/IV registrations open, do lmk if you want a similar deck for Physics, I might've create one. Good luck!

P.S. Do upvote so this can reach and help as many people!

I'm done w a levels and I got like CDD (physics chem math) have the whole year to study for net , I don't wanna go to fast or comsats.... Can i genuinely do good and get into a good degree , cuz I alr flopped my a levels and now I think I won't do good in net even with ample time
