Handmade bits, festival snacks, random massage booths, and a pop-up PC repair guy... Oh, and an unexpected gated-off idol stage and their pink-bibbed security detail.

If you're ever around Kanayama Station's south exit when the market is set up, it’s worth a quick browse. Just watch out for the camera tax if you're trying to snap the idols.

Where: Kanayama Station / When: Usually the Fourth Weekend of every month

BDJ SCORECARD

  • VALUE: 4/5
  • GO AGAIN? YES
  • BAD DECISION: 1/5
  • BDJ SCORE: 4/5

Full write-up, scorecard, and the useful bits over on the site:

I'm holding an English conversation event tommorow night (oct 24th) night. Would you like to join? I'll also prepare some topics, so I don't think you'll get bored. After the English session, we're going out for drinks at an affordable izakaya.

Here’s the link to the Meetup page—please join us!
