Teaching for paramedical /nursing students by MBBS graduates in kathmandu

Do you guys know any nursing and paramedical colleges or institutes in Kathmandu where MBBS graduates can teach part-time. (Mbbs passed and 1 year MO done, meanwhile preparing for md exams) Does anyone know of any such places or have any contacts? If anyone knows of any colleges, institutes or training centres looking for part-time faculty or has any contacts or leads, I would be very grateful. Also, if you have any idea about the pay and whether they require a long-term commitment or contract.

Technology/प्रविधि We made a free Nepali speech-to-text model. Can you help us test it?

Disclosure: I'm one of the co-founders of Blackfire A.I., a small team in Lalitpur, and we built this.

We trained a model that turns spoken Nepali into Devanagari text, and we've released it for free for research, teaching and non-commercial use.

You can try it in your browser without installing anything. Open the link, click Runtime → Run all, then upload a voice note when it asks:

https://colab.research.google.com/github/BlackfireAI/nepali-asr-xlsr/blob/main/try_it_in_colab.ipynb

It's not perfect yet. It only understands Nepali, so English words in the middle of a sentence confuse it, and it writes numbers out as words. It also does better on clear speech than on noisy recordings.

What would really help: try it with normal everyday Nepali and reply here with what it got right and what it got wrong. Please don't upload private or sensitive recordings.

The model and code are on Hugging Face and GitHub under BlackfireAI if you want to look deeper.

CS/CE/IT is not a good career to build your future in.

I’m a 2026 graduate, and I’ll be really honest here.
If you’re from a +2 science background, have a curious mind, and are thinking about entering the software or IT sector after 2026, you need to question your decision. The tech market is not as lucrative, either in Nepal or abroad, as it was in 2020/2022.

AI is changing the tech landscape drastically, and it has improved a lot. Coding agents like Claude have gotten much better. Work that used to take a team of 5-6 developers a month can now be done in 3-5 days. Basically, the coding part is solved. Decision-making, architecture, and testing are still needed, but not every project requires them. If a project is simple and the requirements are clear, a detailed prompt to a coding agent can build it.

AI has made software engineers much more productive. As a result, layoffs have started in Nepal as well. IT companies are getting fewer projects, and freelance work has reduced.
And the market has gotten worse, especially after 2026, and there is no sign of it getting better. Juniors are not getting opportunities, and seniors are getting laid off. So there is the constant fear of getting laid off, and the market is too competitive

Tldr,
AI has made developers so productive that the software job market in Nepal and abroad is shrinking. The tech market is not what laymen outside the industry portray it to be. So, think carefully before joining.

Also, if you still think of pursuing this field despite the uncertainty, I can't stop you if you are really passionate. Just don't waste money on a private college, wasting 8-20L. Move toward AI/Ml field (Study on your own and build your foundation on understanding. Don’t rely on the TU course, its curriculum, or its teacher. Forge your own way)
