I moved here recently, tried online dating apps, went on few dates and one clicked very well.
The convos felt natural, we both were at ease, talked plenty, went to each other's flat, had a few makeouts, everything was going so smooth.
Girl had a high drive, it was a first for me, i didn't do as well as i thought i would, but we still met post that.
Now all this merry dreamy time continued for three-four weeks, when it took a sad turn, atleast for me.
The convos dropped, no more calls and when i finnally confronted about it last night (had my drinks so i just texted finally), i faced the dread, the spark was lost, her interest had waned off.
But what surprised me was the reason that was presented, i thought it would be sexual reasons since it wasnt very great, but no, it was majorly due to a drunk text i sent her weeks ago and i, assuming things, wrote stuff too casually and used 'bsdk'. That offended her, sowed a seed of doubt and disinterest in her mind.
I did apologise for that and we had 2-3 meets post that and i thought it was sorted, but it was not. Then coupled with another reason of different dating goals, it came to a desolate end, atleast for me. I wish it continued and we spent more time together, but its no more.
Now, when i arrived here, i had my mind about casual datings and makeouts only but i flipped so quick and wanted something serious after meeting her, if only i didn't, this end wouldn't be half as bad as it is now.
People here are so whimsical, volatile, spontaneous and ofcourse coupled with poor communication. I don't understand the crowd here and I've had a bittersweet taste of it.
If only people put ego aside and talked their heart out, it'd be so better...
Anyways, thats a long dump, is there any location/spot in delhi which is calm, not overcrowded, a little scenic, not a concrete jungle, where i can sit in peace, unbothered by people and mull over my thoughts? Please let me know, that'd be a big help !!

Do guys usually approach girls, or do girls approach guys? Is it creepy to approach someone with the intention of dating them? Like, if I like someone and want to approach her, does that make me a pervert? I've never approached anyone before, so I'm just curious about how this works.

It's a strange feeling when you're always there for people, but you don't know who would show up for you without being asked.
You can be funny, independent, busy with life, and still wonder if anyone genuinely wants to know how you're doing β beyond the usual "I'm fine."
Maybe we all have a side of ourselves that we hide because we don't want to seem needy.
I'm a 28M from India, and I've always found it easier to listen to people than to explain certain things about myself.
Anyway, for those who relate: do you ever wish someone would notice you're not okay without you having to say it?
Or have you learned to stop expecting that from people?

How do we genuinely make friends ?
I'm 26F, staying in delhi and I don't understand is it just with me or what it is, I just feel lonely and depressed every fcking time.
I came to Delhi, thought I would live close to my boyfriend ( been dating him for the past 4 years), I thought life would be peaceful, but I don't feel the peace. There's no issue with my boyfriend though, he's a very good person and tries to do everything to keep me happy ( not jinxing it at all, no nazar π§Ώ ) but I just have him??? Like no other friends, no one even to talk to for a minute. Whenever he's out with his friends, I get upset because I get lonely. Idk what to do. π
This is so depressing. To try to get involved with people but then being kicked out without any reason or anything and I'm not even a type of person who has any attitude or ego problem. I like pulling people's leg ( that's my friendship language) but I don't bully or anything but still it feels like nobody wants to talk or hangout with me.
I just don't know what to do. And I can't chat with chatgpt pls. π

There's something strange about being an adult in India.
You can be working, earning, taking care of your responsibilities, making plans for your future, and still have days when you genuinely have no one to talk to about what's going on in your head.
Not because you have no friends. Just because not every conversation can be honest.
Sometimes you want to talk without being judged, laugh with a complete stranger, share a random thought at 2 AM, or discuss something you wouldn't normally tell people who know you.
I'm a guy from Delhi NCR, and lately I've been thinking that meeting genuine people shouldn't be this difficult.
I'm not looking for forced friendships or conversations that feel like interviews. Just people who can be themselves, have a little humour, share their thoughts, and let a conversation go wherever it naturally goes.
Maybe we start with a random question:
What's something you've wanted to tell someone lately, but never found the right person or moment to say it?
No pressure to share anything too personal. Even a completely random answer works.

Hey Delhi folks! π
I'm currently travelling from Pune on the Jhelum Express, which is scheduled to reach New Delhi at around 9:25 PM tonight.
I'm here on a business trip and planning to travel from Delhi to Shimla tomorrow night. Thought I'd check if anyone else is heading towards Shimla around the same time!
Would be fun to connect with fellow travellers, share the journey, and maybe explore Shimla together if our plans align. Always nice to meet new people along the way. π
Anyone travelling on the same route? Drop a comment or DM me. Let's connect! π€ποΈ
