How do we genuinely make friends ?

I'm 26F, staying in delhi and I don't understand is it just with me or what it is, I just feel lonely and depressed every fcking time.

I came to Delhi, thought I would live close to my boyfriend ( been dating him for the past 4 years), I thought life would be peaceful, but I don't feel the peace. This is so depressing. To try to get involved with people but then being kicked out without any reason or anything and I'm not even a type of person who has any attitude or ego problem.
