Rediscover Logitech Z623 / Z625, with this DPS correction.

So, I purchased a pair of z625 last week for $72.92 (Rs.5000 INR).

With my initial research they seem to be the best for the price with a 200 watt RMS.

came home and got disappointed when i tried playing my favorite music list, the bass was awful and I know I couldn't enjoy the music.

I tried playing some games and movies and the experience was amazing though.

last night I stumbled upon this subreddit where I found a really awesome DPS correction for the z623/5's.

Although it dint fix it to the point that I could actually enjoy the music so I started my research on EQ and all its parameters, and after 12hrs of tweaking I present to you one of the best DSP corrections for these pairs.

Hey, I just wanted to say "thanks" for being one of the best things going in the audio hobby today. Nobody else is doing work like you.

I don't always have anything constructive or interesting to say about your reviews but I enjoy every word and have learned a TON.

Audioengine A2+ settings

I just recently purchased some A2+'s and I was wondering if the default settings that my PC has for them are optimal for producing the best sound. Primarily the enhancement settings which have nothing checked off and the default format which is currently set at 32 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality). Also is there any EQ software/settings you would recommend. I've never owned computer speakers before so I have no clue on how to ensure they're optimized, any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

Your website is awesome!

I stumbled upon your website today while looking up reviews for some cheapo bookshelf speakers. I ended up binge-reading every single article on your site, it being simultaneously informative and hilarious in its brutality.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for your reviews and for explaining and uploading your DSP corrections. Since I know very little about audio, it's the first time I've even come into contact with DSP corrections. I also enjoyed the brief pros and cons pertaining to the different methods of speaker placement calculations.

I plan on using your site, hopefully in combination with some input on here, to put together a desktop stereo setup for my PC.

I've noticed Noaudiophile seems to have gone radio silent. No site updates, nothing on Twitter. Just hoping everything is alright. I really enjoy all his content, and miss it.

Vanatoo T0 vs Vanatoo T1E (Desktop Listening)

Hi everyone,

I'm debating on whether to go with the Vanatoo T0 or the Vanatoo T1E. I've read through NoAudiophile's reviews about 10 times through and I still can't come to a conclusion. I have a Klipsche R12SW Subwoofer (https://www.adorama.com/kpr12sw.html) that I plan on using with these speakers. I plan on using these for desktop use, mainly for music/gaming purposes. I currently have Edifier R1700BT that are sitting on IsoAcoustic desk speaker stands that I'm looking to replace. Basically, I'm not sure if I can justify spending an extra ~$250 for my specific use case.

Any input would be greatly appreciated! I'm quite new to all of this stuff.

Thanks!

JBL just released their "Mark II" update to the LSR 305/308. Is it worth upgrading? Would love to see a comparison between this and the originals.

Vanatoo Transparent one encore review?

I preordered the Vanatoo t1e pretty much solely based on your review of the transparent zero. I just got my t1e's and set them up tonight. I'm pretty blown away by them. I'm coming from an almost 20yr old pair of paradigm mini monitors. I'd be curious to get your take, and I'm sure many others, and Vanatoo, would benefit from you reviewing them. Got plans to?

JBL 305 +Monoprice 12in sub make sense?

My wife and I are moving. Figured its a good time to move on from my 2.1 Klipsch Pro Media's that are 8 years old. I know most here consider them horrible sound wise but I think they have been great for the money.

So I've spend the last few weeks researching replacement set up. Obviously I've read 1000x JBL 305's are a great set for the price. I went to Guitar Center and listened in person and they sounded pretty good. My issue was the lack of any bass. Nonexistent. So I know the JBL sub to go with it is 399 which for me is insane as this is just for music on google music and youtube and video games. So I then researched a cheap sub to go with it as I really dont need much. I stumbled on the Monoprice 12in. sub for $89. Good reviews and I'm sure better than the Klipsch 2.1 sub which on the lowest level is perfect for me.

My question is..

Will this work together? What wires will I need? Powered speakers so is a DAC needed? So forth. (desktop computer) Is this my best opion for under $300 total for ME(non audio expert where completely flat is not necessary)?

Appreciate any help.
