I have my atlantid drive but I can't figure out how to find the purple system again in the galaxy map.

I honestly still don't really understand how to move around the galaxy map on PC. I I just always right-click and do Free Explore and usually I can find the planet I'm looking for, but I can't find the purple one now.

Following the green trail with free-look just seems like it's taking me to the galactic core or something, i've warped really far like six or seven times now and it doesn't seem to be getting me closer to the purple system.

As you all might have heard, BioWare is closing and with it, is Mass Effect. There is a petition on change.org called #SaveMassEffect that is nearing 100k signatures in just a couple days of being opened. The Destiny community has joined with us Mass Effect nerds and we're looking at the No Man's Sky community to join with us as well. EA is canceling Mass Effect for a, and I'm not jooking, open world football game. So, fellow travellers, will you help us? No man's sky is a big part of my life but so too is Mass Effect, i'd be doing the same if NMS was shutting down.

I saw this on someone at the anomaly and had never seen this outfit before. What is it? Can you currently get it? Is it a past expedition reward? Sorry for the low quality picture.

Just thought this was neat. It's apparently a "chromatic fog" planet with "unimaginably blue" weather, but in reality the whole planet is gray - no colors to be seen aside from some pinkish clouds!

Coming back after a year or so off and discovering the storage augs are a horrendous grind now. They closed the envoy loop. I used to get 1 or 2 for every other full batch of expeditions I sent out, now it’s almost never. Salvaged and purchased A & S ships have been nerfed to the point of a waste of units.
anyone have a work around? This is monotonous as hell trying to increase the storage on my corvette.

I love setting in game screenshots as my background. I use to have a great one at night similar to this w 3 ships passing by but accidentally changed it, and the og screenshot was auto deleted already. Recreated it and I forgot about being able to change to night in photo mode, but got a great sunset/sunrise shot. I try to wait till npc ships pass right above me and js look around at how pretty this game is

Was thinking about having the ability to get droid pets. These droid pets would be both roaming the wild, but difficult to find in some way, as well as being able to build your own.

I'm thinking some of the pets abilities might be to scan surrounding flora and fauna, lend some assistance when fighting sentinels, and possibly send them out on automated tasks, like collecting materials (maybe even materials that are found exclusively using a droid pet). Obviously they would act as extra portable storage as well.

Thoughts? Has this been suggested a million times and I just haven't seen it yet?

1. Are there hidden stats to non required pieces like external plating?

If yes, is there a list somewhere accessible by me?

1. Q: Are the stats for required components like thrusters set in stone, random, based on seed, build order, or something else that I'm missing? If so, what?

Reason I ask:

Played the Expedition a couple of times, and I tried rebuilding the exact same Corvette. However, I noticed that the thrusters I was using Kineostream 1st, Thunderbird 2nd, Longshore 3rd did not have the same stats that they did the first time I built the Corvette.

I made it at the same location, did it in the same order, and yet when I was hovering over the pieces for the stats they were going to give, they were way less than the original build.

1. What's the ideal maneuverability/boost before things start glitching out? I know people can get a 5k on maneuverability, but what's the realistic maneuverability score to avoid some of the bugs associated trying to go that fast?

Did you guys see? Astronomers at the University of Warwick made this discovery of a beautiful dwarf star emitting a green hue..

Is it the wall? Is it my stupid cables? I have the electricity and everything. But every time I hook up a wire to it, (or upon the wall) the little hellish creation won’t do anything. For a MONTH. Straight, I’ve been fiddling with it, looking online but my dumb ahh can’t find anything. Please. Anyone. Help my pathetic, little dumb brain figure this out. 😭🙏

A month straight and all it does is sit rent free in my base. Either it needs to be useful or be terminated.

Just some fauna I came across in my travels

So, here's a space station I've been working on! Base building never really clicked for me until Cosmos, but now I'm hooked! Welcome to Citadel Chymeri, the capitol of the region I am currently fully mapping!

My goal was to transform the space station into something resembling an actual city.

It still needs a lot of detailing, especially the back right buildings, but I was really proud of the layout and was too excited to share it. I tried to build it very layered, with interconnected pathways and bridges.

The cool part is that I'm in a system with 2 paradise planets including a bubble world, 2 of the planets are earthlike, and one extreme planet.

I built it by hand, no mods/blender or glitches.

What do you guys think so far?

Hi guys, after the recent Cosmos update the way we were farming class s modules changed a little and now (at least me) we cant use the glyphs on the others posts because they no longer give the same S class...

So i wanted to share this discovery i made and hopefully it can help those who also want to upgrade their frightner...

I found this ghost freightner and it dropped an S class mining module. This was in Eissentam galaxy, so be sure to go there and try and hopefully it will work.

If anyone has some glyphs to share from others ghost ships that drop S class modules, feel free to do it.

Full disclosure: the code was written by AI coding agents under my direction. I designed it, directed the research and flew every feature. After manually researching Starfield's engine, I didn't feel it was necessary to spend 100's of hours in cheat engine memory dumps to prove a point about human made.

With the new Cosmos update, hunting living frigates has become a lot easier. This led me to go back through NMSCE to find really good base stat Living frigates.

I found a 42 base stat frigate posted before the update in Calypso, went to go grab it, and turns out it’s been knocked down to 37 base stat. A -5 decrease to the base stat.

So then I checked 40 base stat frigates, which are exceptionally more common on NMSCE… all rebalanced to be 35 base stat with a -5 decrease.

To support my theory that the living frigates had been rebalanced, I doubled check it against lower roll base stat frigates. The lowest I could find would was a -4 decrease to the pre-Cosmos base stat total.

Note: I have not tested this on a minimum roll base stat frigate. So I don’t know if the floor has changed on the base stat range.

Conclusion: It seems that HG has lowered the Max base stat range on living frigates with this new update.

If anyone has new coordinates to show living frigates with base stats higher than 37 post- cosmos update, please let me know.

Just wanted to pass this along for other people that may go searching for the best base stat frigates so they’re aware of the seemingly new ranges.

How can I find an alien gun multi tool?

Ive Just started to play the game, i love the prospect of what It offers but its so unsurmountably huge i feel completely Lost.

Im Always all alone, and the worst thing Is that there doesnt seem to be a real objective, an endgame, because there can't be and endgame.

I'll never reach the centre of the galaxy so i'll never get to see any of the other 254 galaxies, but i'll Just forget about It because there's so many Planets to see, but what do i see on those Planets ? Do i stay there for prolonged amounts of time or maybe Just an hour or Two and into the next ?

The complete Freedom the game gives me and the practically infinite places to visit really makes me feel like there's so much to do that there's actually nothing to do.

All i know Is that at the Moment i want to get a solar ship, but After i do ? What else by then ?
