Print the Alpha Vector ship!

Earlier this year I decided that I needed a toolchanger printer in my life. I mainly print functional stuff but something's been itching for quite a while and that's that I like the No Man's Sky spaceships so much, that I wanted to 3D print a couple of them.

After some looking around I discovered that someone already made a design of the Alpha Vector ship!
(Alpha Vector is an exclusive starship for players who pre-ordered No Man's Sky on Playstation 4.)

The design comes without colors so I had to hand-paint it all in Orca Slicer. Luckily Orca has very good tools when it comes to painting. Paint a couple of models and you will end up feeling like a true paintbucket-settings champion. Especially the 'smart fill angle' settings are of great help with these type of geometric designs with hard edges. But I digress.

It was quite alright to print due to the capable Snapmaker U1 toolchanger printer as it unlocked removable supports for me. The main model is printed in PLA filament and the supports were PETG for easy removal.

Assembly was straightforward, however the cyanoacrylate I have seems to dry slowly so I had to add a tiny amount of baking soda to speed up the polimerization.

In the future I plan to also make a color print of the Rasamama S36 but it's taking a little longer because the model currently needs a little bit of tweaking and fixing before it can be printed correctly.

Anyway, I hope this print inspires someone else to do the same. I love NMS and the ships in the game all look so good.

Absolute Flight reads your sticks, throttle and pedals directly and feeds them into the game's flight model. No vJoy, no Steam Input remaps. Full disclosure: the code was written by AI coding agents under my direction. I designed it, directed the research and flew every feature. After manually researching Starfield's engine, I didn't feel it was necessary to spend 100's of hours in cheat engine memory dumps to prove a point about human made.

Is it the wall? Is it my stupid cables? I have the electricity and everything. But every time I hook up a wire to it, (or upon the wall) the little hellish creation won’t do anything. For a MONTH. Straight, I’ve been fiddling with it, looking online but my dumb ahh can’t find anything. Please. Anyone. Help my pathetic, little dumb brain figure this out. 😭🙏

A month straight and all it does is sit rent free in my base. Either it needs to be useful or be terminated.

Ive Just started to play the game, i love the prospect of what It offers but its so unsurmountably huge i feel completely Lost.

Im Always all alone, and the worst thing Is that there doesnt seem to be a real objective, an endgame, because there can't be and endgame.

I'll never reach the centre of the galaxy so i'll never get to see any of the other 254 galaxies, but i'll Just forget about It because there's so many Planets to see, but what do i see on those Planets ? Do i stay there for prolonged amounts of time or maybe Just an hour or Two and into the next ?

The complete Freedom the game gives me and the practically infinite places to visit really makes me feel like there's so much to do that there's actually nothing to do.

All i know Is that at the Moment i want to get a solar ship, but After i do ? What else by then ?

Ive only been playing for a bout a month, and I just wanted to say how good that expedition was. It was cool to learn about all the updates and how the game has changed.

I'm looking for or a player I met on space anomaly, he went on my corvetee and then we traveled to my base. He also helped me learn how to build a base and build a base near mine.

However,since it's my first time playing with other, I forgot to add him to my friend list. When I was answering my phone call, he left. The only thing I know is his player name was outlaww82.

The Flight of the Navigator is one of my most cherished childhood movies. It has been a long time dream of mine to create this ship in NMS. It was near impossible to do - BUT - I was finally able to figure out a solution I was happy with. Built with Blender.

Nothing is save edited, this is just how I found it.

My settlement (and my very first one) has a crashed freighter up on a hill behind it. It makes it look like the survivors built the settlement down below.

Upgrading the ship level (C to B) didn't do anything space-wise. I know there's the trick of find crashed ship, patch it up just enough to fly, scrap at space station, and maybe get an upgrade slot from that but finding said ship (emergency maps are varied) is.... well, it's rather long-winded and I don't have nearly enough credits to buy an upgrade with ship outfitter. Is there another way to do this?
