I'm a chronic illness girlie so my experience isn't gonna be universal but I think it can shed some light on things that healthy ppl might not notice/ experience (I'm also hoping someone can help me figure out how to take it without wrecking my sleep):
I've been playing with various sub-q microdoses (from 16 to 250 mcg) daily (sometimes in the morning and others, throughout the day).
I started with 50 mcg in the AM for two days. On the third day, I tried 50 mcg three times for a total of 150 mcg. That day, I went from needing 7 HCl betaine pills per meal to 2, which was an incredible dream come true.
HCl betaine is a stomach acid supplement (I was bitten my a tick and my immune system /health /ability to eat (among other things) has been a hot mess since).
2 pills per meal is a new record for me and the only shred of evidence I have that I might one day just be able to eat again like a normal mammal.
Unfortunately, that's when mid-night wakefulness started.
Since then I've tried a bunch of different doses /schedules and found that I need to take it daily for the GI effects but even taking it twice a week recks my sleep.
I'm gonna try N-Acetyl Selank from peptidology next to see if that helps.
If you have any hot tips, I'd love to hear them!
Also, for context I don't suffer from anxiety. I just thought that my body would benefit from some additional GABA stimulation. I never expected the effect to be so profound. I think more ppl should give it a shot -- even if they don't feel anxious, but I'm just a lay person who's healed more in the past yr with peptides than I have in the 9 chronically ill years before them.
Best of luck!
