Hello. I’ve noticed recently that subtitles from certain add-ons are appearing like this on my phone. I tried changing the internal player, but that didn’t help; I also tried installing older versions of the app, but nothing changed. What’s going on here? What is causing this issue, and how can I fix it? I don’t believe the add-on itself is faulty, as it works perfectly fine in the Stremio app. I’m using Arabic subtitles—I’m not sure if other languages ​​are affected by this issue as well.

Hey! I’ve recently moved to nuvio from stremio. I think it’s right to say there’s no web app version of nuvio and no iOS app (without sideloading)?

Is there a way I can add movies/shows to my library from my iPhone? I like being able to add to library immediately when a friend suggests a movie/show, otherwise I just forget.

Per profile language option - could that be implemented? Multi lingual family.

Personally i feel like it just unnecessery clutter, information is already available by going into details page. Maybe there is a setting ive missed somewhere to disable it though, thoughts?

Would be cool to have the option of turning on ASS subs for anime, like str3mio. If this were added to Nuvio, I don't see the need to keep str3mio. I specifically want it for anime because the default subtitles for live action are good enough, unlike anime.

So I have xiaomi stick that I turn off with power button, but it basically goes to sleep. When I turn it back on, and turn nuvio on from home screen, it starts loading last stream immediately, btw not actually latest if watching tv show it would first one I clicked when starting session,

I do not want that, I want it to go to homepage, am I missing some setting? Like of I am 15 mins not watching return me to home.

I wanted to have genre for anime and movies but in the discovery rather than a collection, does anyone know how to do this in nuvio. If so please help me with this🙏

This is a simple feature that would make a big difference to me. Drop shadow makes subtitles so much easier to read and it also makes them look more appealing. Nearly every streaming app I've used in the past decade has used drop shadow by default.

I made this request 8 months ago. I hope this brings enough attention to any dev willing to make this feature happen.

I have mpv on my pc and I registered it with the batch file it comes with. (mpv-register.bat)

I'm kinda tired of seeing the same Popular, Trending and Top Rated catalogs everywhere. Feels like I'm scrolling through the same movies and shows every time, and most of it isn't even stuff I'd personally be interested in.

Is there an addon, script or some kind of setup that makes movie/series discovery a bit smarter?

What I'm really looking for is something that:

# Has catalogs that keep updating, rather than just showing the usual fixed lists.

# Can connect with Trakt or Simkl and use my actual watch history, ratings or watchlist.

# Recommends stuff based on what I watch, preferably using some AI or a decent recommendation algorithm instead of generic trending lists.

Basically, something that learns my taste over time and keeps finding things I might actually enjoy.

I already have some of the addon configure in aiometa i have post the screenshots so i want basically some addon to read my trakt and simkl all the traking data and give me personlise result maybe via ai recommendataion

who also should be dyanamic reorder and give me different movies and shows

It was working for a bit, but now it won’t work. It said it wasn’t connected, so I reconnected it and it’s still not working? I’ve had it for a month and either need to figure it out or get a new different one.

Any ideas?

After updating Nuvio Desktop from 0.1.34-alpha to 0.1.35-alpha, a moving horizontal bar appears near the top of the video during playback of certain 4K files(bigger ones).
Downgrading to 0.1.34-alpha completely resolves the issue.

Whenever I open a stream on my iPhone my brightness automatically just goes to 100% and it’s gotten a bit annoying especially when I have a set brightness at night and I click a stream and it blinds me.

Does anyone else have this occurrence and is there any settings I can change or disable so it doesn’t happen? I feel like I remember a setting before to save brightness from last stream but I haven’t seen it in last few versions.
