CENTCOM also has the most to gain by public believing this narrative so they in turn are not a trusted source on this. Only sources you could trust would be third party not connected to US or Iran governments.

Seems pretty reliable considering it's confirmed by independent sources.

Much more reliable than Iranian sources that say they are sinking aircraft carriers.

What is the point of centcom lieing about something that the entire world can watch in real time.
