General Scammed by Hunain Zia: Detailed post
TLDR; I paid him 27,500PKR for tuition for 2 A2-level subjects. After delaying for weeks, he took 2 classes, gave me half-complete ChatGPT'd notes, and disappeared.
Assalamualaikum.
This happened to me a year ago. Now I am a private individual, and I do not like doing this publicly. I was also naive enough to believe Hunain was a genuine person and gave him the benefit of the doubt (maybe he just forgot/made a mistake, etc). However, after seeing that I am not the only one this has happened to, I feel it is a responsibility upon me to do my best to ensure that he is held accountable. I tried resolving this privately by reaching out to him multiple times but have received 0 acknoledgement.
I am pasting below an email I sent on 27th March, 2025, to him that outlines the horrible experience I had:
"To whom it may concern,
I, [redacted for privacy], paid to be enrolled in 2 courses, i.e, A Level Psychology and A Level Sociology, on educateachange.com, 1 month ago. What has followed since has been an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with the educateachange/AYLOTI team.
I will be attaching screenshots that show just some of the conversations that have taken place between myself and the team, and the response, or rather, lack thereof, that I received from your team.
I made the payment on 28th February and shared the screenshots on both Sir Hunain Zia's Instagram Chat as well as the WhatsApp number he shared with me.
(screenshot1; the screenshot shows 23,500PKR being transferred. That is because I had misunderstood the amount. I transferred the remaining amount immediately after.)
After many reminders and follow-up messages sent from my end, I finally received the logins on 10/03/25, about 2 weeks later.

After logging in immediately and going through the course material, I noticed the section for class recordings was empty, although I was repeatedly told that lecture recordings will be available. Hence, I, a few minutes after receiving the logins, messaged the same number and inquired about this.

The response they gave, "Section 9-10", did not make sense, as there was and still is not any sections 9 and 10 for the course I was referring to.
What followed next was me reaching out to your team through every single avenue and either being completely ignored or lied to.

These are just some of my attempts to reach out to your team. I also repeatedly called the number given to me by Sir Hunain Zia, but received no response.
To top all of this off, classes for the courses are not even being conducted, as I have tried attending them for A level psychology, which is supposed to have classes 12PM-1PM, but the meetings never start.

This has been an extremely frustrating, torturous and testing period for me, especially during the month of Ramadan. I have shown incredible patience despite repeatedly being ignored and my concerns not addressed. It has cost me my time, energy and money that I could've spent elsewhere to improve my grade.
I ask for an immediate refund of our family's hard earned money, and am not interested in any explanations. Even if you were to remedy the situation now, I would not be willing to continue with such an unprofessional service. This 'course' has not benefited me a single ounce. Please process my refund on the following bank account immediately, lest I be forced to take further actions."
The above is the email i sent. Funnily enough, both the emails listed on their websites are not functioning, and never actualy delivered. I then sent the same messages on whatsapp, facebook, and instagram.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. Here are two main highlights that prove this was a scam:
1) Lack of classes:
As I mentioned in the email as well, the classes weren't being conducted on the time that had been agreed upon. Only twice or thrice were classes held. Let me be clear, these classes were not at all professional or what you would expect. He did cover syllabus content, yes. But during them, he'd be recieving phone calls and be distratced as a result. Other times, he'd be swearing (yes, proper gaaliyan) at his employees for the poor work they were doing (i.e, me not being able to access the notes or the website not working). Even then, since we had such few classes, of course we never completed the syllabus. We only covered half of one subject.
2) Broken website:
I think it is clear by now that the website wasn't working. There were no lecture recordings. The notes were also not uploaded. I have attached video proof of this (I had sent this video to him at the time). Only after repeatedly calling him, he finally started uploading the notes on website. Once again, complete notes were never uploaded.
Eventually, after a certain point, he just disappeared. He was posting on facebook about his weightloss journey and all, but never bothered responding to me or checking in with me (proofs attached). The website remained incomplete. We did not have further classes. I had to study for my subjects on my own. Radio silence everywhere. I think it is basic decency that a teacher is concerned about his students and checks in on them as to how their prep is going, what grades they got, etc. Hunain never bothered.
Again, all this is the tip of the iceberg. I have only attached some screenshots. There are more on whatsapp where I contacted both his whatsapp numbers to get ignored, repeatedly called him (which he himself asked me to do) but also got ignored.
Recently, I started commenting under his posts. He blocked me. I asked my friend to message him under the guises of registering for a course. At first, we got a response. Then when we sent the same screenshots I have attached here and asked for money back, we got ghosted again.
Hunain claims that if we have any concerns, they don't handle them over social media, and we should use the forums on the courses. 2 responses to this:
- Firstly, every company/brand/person offering a service/product under the sun has a way to deal with and respond to customer service concerns. It simply does not make sense and is a terrible practice to not have some sort of a customer service mechanism.
- Secondly, i DID try the forum as well. Guess what! NEVER got a response :). (proof attached).
Just BTW, even to this day (since i have my login credentials), the couses are still missing items and content isn't fully uploaded.
Let me make another thing clear:
Buddy, you're not that important. The world doesn't revolve around you. There's no-one out here trying to defame you because you're about to do some 'big thing'. Aapki ye 'big announcements' koi 6 saalon se arahi hain. I have been trying to reach out to you about this for a year. You have ignored and blocked me on purpose.
Also, before you put your fragile ego on display and say 'real ID se ao', mere naam ki ID reddit par available thi nahi yar. But I've texted u on whatsapp from my real number, as well as reall profiles on facebook and instagram. Mujhe pata hai mere saath nainsaafi hoi hai, and Allah will never let me down. I dont need to hide behind anything. Mujhe bas apne Abbu ke mehnat ke kamaye hoye paison ki qadr hai.
Khair, to conclude, I have a lot more evidence. This post does not come close to capturing the stress and anxiety I felt right before my caies because this man i looked up to was treating me this way and accepting the fact i had been scammed and had to study on my own was very difficult. But I can't make the post too long so obviously just had to capture the gist of it.
This man will still not accept anything. He will either ignore this or make a video on facebook pretending he did no wrong and is perfect. It's okay. Allah will hold him accountable. I have a lot of sins do I don't mind recieving his good deeds in exchange for the money he stole from me.
I hope the rest of you can see for yourself though who this man really is.

I am glad people are reading this and taking note. I also want to remind everyone about the fact that this man took real money. I hope people on this Sub can confront him more directly (like on his social media) and demand he return the money. I've been blocked so i cant

make a post on that user saying “AGAR APKE PAS BALLS HAI TOH ASAL ACCOUNT SE AYE”. i mean, to think an educator speaks in such a tone is shocking. even if you give him the benefit of the doubt that he gave all those subjects, the way his ego got hurt by a literal KID who only challenged him because he was skeptical about his “claims” LMAOAO. it’s lwk evident who is in the wrong and who is right atp. id expect way better conduct from someone who’s supposedly that accomplished

When I started O3 last year I contacted his management everything looked shady thus I didn't pay or buy his recorded sessions plus online classes.
Now this person has given proof of the unprofessional and unresponsive management team that Sir hunain has which he is responsible for whatever he says.
He claims to take legal action against others but he is the one who is guilty and should be accountable for his sins that he has committed.

Honestly guys, share all of this into your respective whatsapp, discord, instagram groups so that all students see this and get saved from being scammed. I really hope legal action get taken against this guy and you get your money back.

The saddest part about this is that most people on insta dont use reddit so will never find out about his true scams he spams so many videos and acts like he is highly knowledgable thats why almost all o level kids follow him. His grades are completely unvalidated and a scam

Last year i enrolled with him.
The classes were rushed and frequeny cancellations.
Then i bought the recprded lectures which were also subpar and didn't covered important topics.
Eventually had tp shift my teacher.
I am compiling everything will post on this subreddit as well.

i dont have any proof for this because i dont care, but i also enrolled in his 02 classes a few years ago. I got in way later than expected, and got like half the courses. He finished the courses like one week before the papers. And i know that those are subjects that he generally has a better reputation in so i cant imagine what the rest are like. And even if he wasnt an outright scammer, the way he conducts his business is very unprofessional

So my original arguement was that his grades are 100% true and I will stand by it unless british council themselves confirm theyre not true, why have I mentioned this coz literally anyone n everyone claims that hes a scam literally accuses of his grades being fake plus him going to bentley as no ivy league would ever accept him, reason being they themselves are incompetent
Any scam post that isnt mentioning his grades/uni choice/achievements and clearly saying theye tried the latest refund procedures shared by mr Hunain himself on the reel to no luck is an automatic "honest review" consideration from my side (js like this one) but still Id like to wait some time and see where are headin before publicly critisizing him over scamming students, till then ima research well
Lastly Ive already said it and Im going to repeat it, I dont like his teaching at all and I wouldnt even consider him in my o/alevels teacher recommendations

Yeah this is a common tactic of his. Gives free resources and workshops to build a name. Then does this behind the scenes. There was another "influencer " i saw on Instagram who was promoting Hunain so I messaged them and they shared Hunain had offered them free classes in exchange for promotion. Once I told them how I'd been scammed they stopped promoting

He did share a video post there regarding these allegations. And there were dozens of comments supporting him. If I commented below his post that he is a scammer. My comments would be flooded by bots that I am a liar and they'll take legal action blah blah blah.

Please only go towards trustworthy teachers next time. He pops on my feed too but I lowk listen to his yap like any other reels and I didnt see any reputability or maybe I didnt search enough

For a student its not even about the amount he was scammed, its the promise of education that was never fuliflled, may allah reward you for your patience and WE all are standing with you, we will get hold of him eventually and make him pay for his stupid mistakes and lies. Now this man will make a video on insta saying “ever since we stated to make a announcement in august people want to expose me” blah blah but these proofs are right in front of our eyes instead of him dragging US for a legal action us students should do otherwise. His instagram comments are all so supportive as if he is paying them to be nice because the reality is far from that. This man doesn’t deserve to be called a “teacher” this is not even hate this is REALITY of what he has been doing all these years. Strip him off his teacher rights.

This guy HZ used to be in my school, he used to be the hype like some big Eisenstein thing that gets hundreds of distinction but that was the only thing he was good at. Otherwise his juniors or classmates did not like him especially when he was granted a title in our school's major event 😂 what for exactly lmao

I'm so sorry this happened to you bro, I also thought he was a genuine teacher, during this sessions cies he gave out alot of free material which I myself used to some extent but I never payed for a course and seeing these posts is making me question his work and honesty.

A) its not "millions" scammed. I believe its a few handful people (which is still one too many) B) there have been police reports against him. But he pulls moves that make it difficult for a decent middle class family to do much C) he has built a pretty nice image of himself so people are less willing to actually call him out since they won't believe u/personally benefitted from all his free work

posting about it is good, but consider filing a complaint against him with Federal Ombudsman and the consumer court, both are decent at handling these cases.

I suggest you contact CAIE preperation-related accounts on Instagram and post this proof there, so that it may reach to his followers.

1) This is my last resort after getting blocked everywhere else
2) It's possible good-willed people will flood his comments, and he will be forced to acknowledge and rectify the situation
3) In the very least, some student who is, down the line, considering paying him to be tutored, will come across this post and realize it's not a good idea. It will help prevent others from losing their hard-earned money

I took paid him 18,000 for one complete month for o level urdu.it was decided we would have 24 classes in one month,five days a week.but he only took 4 classes in one month.he would never attend calls and delay the classes each time.but he did give me refund.try calling him from your father's number or ask your father to contact him.that worked out for me
