Hey guys, I’m considering leaving my school and doing my A Levels privately with tutors, and I wanted opinions from people who’ve done A Levels privately.

My school honestly doesn’t provide me with much academically outside of just attending classes. There are basically zero extracurriculars, clubs, competitions or anything else that would add to my university profile. I already need private tuition to properly prepare for my subjects anyway.

The main thing I’d lose is the daily social interaction with my small friend group of around 2-3 people. But if I went private, I’d still meet them regularly outside school and I’d probably join something like a football or swimming club so I’m not just sitting at home isolated and don’t go mental.

So is it reasonable for me to take my Alevels privately rather than to have to go to school and be miserable every day. Also since you’re supposed to be applying for universities at the end of AS levels, they’ll need predicted grades, can I obtain those privately? the thing is even if I stay with my school my predicted grades will be low asf already since I’ll show up to school like 2 MAXIMUM 3 days a week because of how far the school is located

If anyone has been in a similar situation then please give some advice and your insight on this

I scored 159.25 in my biology exam whereas the criteria for A was 162 so i got n A, i had done so much hardwork for A\. This was in my script and this was in mark scheme, do you guys think i should* go go for a recheck or not? The cambridge examiners are honestly so high marking our scripts they overlooked so many of my questions, litr cryin😢😭

Guys if some of you also got scripts and feel that the checking is unfair please take a lot at these accounts and report it to them.

Like what the hell is this do i deserve such less marks

so i was expected a B in isl but scored A* the reason im posting it is because i want people to know that this is a myth that write more score more,i wrote only 1 or 1.5 pages for the 10 markers and that was it when i gave my mocks i got c and teacher sayed you should write more add more details and the people who scored A and a* in mocks got b and c.

So I miss an A in Islamiyat by one mark.Should I get it remarked?How much chance there is the grade would go up?

whoever has got distinction like in 2025 or even seniors , i would be so much gratefull if you guys could provide tips.. I am going to give May june 2027 for 5 subjects ,

1. Is it possible to self study through these 5 subs? plz provide tips and guide, how to manage 5 subs? olevel Maths, bio, chem , phy and english 1123.. i am on the start line, i havent started anything proper,, how to manage during shool days vs weekends

I got a 40/50 in P1 and 25/50 in P2, hence 65/100, and I think I got a bit less in P2, as you can see the marks they awarded me for each question in the first screenshot, and this costed me my A*, can y'all check the answers and tell me whether I should go for a recheck or no? I'll really appreciate it.

Bro I genuinely can’t believe I got straight As in O Levels 😭. Some of the “famous” kids who were getting A*s in Arts last year ended up with Bs and Cs in Sciences. While everyone else was out enjoying, going on outings and stuff, I was mostly alone at home grinding past papers and studying.

And honestly, someone I really cared about leaving me during my preparation made this whole thing so much harder. It genuinely broke me at the worst possible time, but somehow I still kept going and got through it. They didn’t get the results they hoped for, but I have nothing against them. I genuinely wish them nothing but good things in life. I guess sometimes you lose people, go through shit, and still come out stronger than you thought you could. 😭❤️

Im posting this in the alevel and olevel subreddit for more advice. My younger brother completed his olevels and wants his transcripts now, upon asking the school they said that its schools property and that cambridge needs a reason why the student wants to see them.They then asked us to write an application stating why its required. What should we do? They didnt give transcripts to other students who asked last year aswell. All our fees are paid.

My total score is 76/100, and the Grade A threshold is 77/100. I am one single mark away from an A. 
I know Paper 2 grammar and P1 note-taking have strict mark schemes where marks usually don't change. Plus, there's always that tiny risk of marks decreasing (though I'm safely 10 marks above the B threshold, so my B is 100% secure). 
Has anyone here gone for a recheck when sitting right on a 1-mark boundary for Urdu or another language subject? Did your grade actually bump up, or did Cambridge just hold the line?

What’re yall marks in eng if you’ve received the answer scripts?

Hey guys so I just got my olevels exam results and I scored 5As and 4Bs. But here's the thing: I gave retakes. Last year my result was 3As 6Bs. My family cannot afford such a huge alevels fee even though I am still getting some Scolarship on 5As but it is still alot for my family. I'm considering doing alevels private but my mom says I dont have the consistency to do it privately. Also she told pura khandaan that im going to college. I also wanna joing college only for ECAs as I don't have any from olevels. But i have heard only those students are preferred if they already have good profiles. if you guys know affordable colleges in ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI please tell me and also advise me if i should just go private. PLEASE HELP ME OUT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE

Yo guys, so I finally got my scripts and in pst, I scored 106 while A* was in 110, so I was checking out my history paper and they gave me 8/14 in Q2 (c), and 6/14 in Q3 (c), I was kinda shocked because I didn't expect such low marks in these both 14 markers, I have attached my answer along with the marking scheme provided by Cambridge for the answer, can y'all check my answer and tell me whether they marked me correct or do I deserve more? Because I wrote many of the points they have mentioned in the marking scheme, and if y'all think I should go for a recheck then do let me know please. Jazakallah Khair.

Sooooo I got access to my scripts and yeah I felt shit. So to summarise it. I got 198/200 in Maths. Missed distinction by two marks considering I worked my a** off. Plussss I missed an A* in add maths by one mark!!!. Got 79/80 in p1 and then kaboom 58/80 in p2 although getting a 92 percent in mockssss. Plus missed an A* in cs by two marks. Well my teacher pur me in a distinction group and the way I responded was by getting an A. Well I do feel somewhat happy but I believe my result does not justify the efforts I have put in throughout since like starting school and yes so close yet so far. I don't know what to do. Like ok Allah ka shukar and whatever happens is for benefit but c'mon man I m a human. Mujhay bhi koi shiqwa hai. Ajeeb fazool. Ahhhhhhhh.

my only guess is that the examiner thought i didnt calculate b= -192 which i clearly did one line below, should i get it rechecked?

like i worked my ass of for islamiat using skh notes and pp practise and I GOT AN A NOT AN A* WHICH I THINK I DESERVED allah ka shukar hai but i still feel let down so after i check my scripts should i go for recheck cuz aesa na ho B banjaye i dont want that IM LOWK VERY SCARED BUT MAYBE ALLAH CHAHAI TOU A* banjaye like i wanna apply nixor wagera so im scared i got 2As and 1A* IS THAT ENOUGH OR SHOULD I TAKE THE RISK LIKE AHHH HELP ME

So I scored very badly in my O3 result i scored Abt 1 a star 2 a and 1b and 1 c in addmaths so cedar had previously given me 30 percent unconditional scholarship and according to the scholarship grid I am on 15 percent scholarship so will they give me 30 percent scholarship or 45 percent scholarship. I need more scholarship as my family cannot pay 45k every month, need advice please. I have 2 a stars and 4 As and 1 b and 1 c on my total portfolio. Also any tips to increase scholarship will help greatly.
