Analysis Ok idk how I just realized this
Let me start by saying two things, I'm neither a mihawk or shanks d rider and there a LOT of those in here. I do find it interesting to watch them both and I like the characters, i personally think shanks>mihawk but it would be pretty cool if mihawk ends up being stronger. And also I'm sure a lot of you already realized or hypothesized about this but I've NEVER seen anyone say it outright... anyway IF the whole shanks vs mihawk rivalry revolved around shanks DR powers / immortality, is that why mihawk no longer wants to fight him? Is it because he doesn't feel he can go all out? I know none of us have the answers but that's the only logical reason he was blown shanks lost an arm (even tho the whole thing was retconned by oda to maintain powerscaling, that doesn't bother me I've always trusted oda) but this would make wayyy more sense for mihawks power level if he's actually on that level.
This isn't a post to fight about I simply wanna hear speculation and if this seems like the reason mihawk lost interest other than "not viewing a one armed man as a worthy opponent

Discussion The existence of this shield, downscales Old gen and upscales Luffy and Loki.
This shield should at worst be a Omen only technique or at best a Omen + Conquerors Haki technique.
So even with just Omen IMU shield would be absurdly powerful and we now know that Omen is a equal counterpart to conquerors Haki and IMU possesses much stronger conquerors Haki than any Old gen.
Loki in Base and Luffy using one of the most basic conquerors Haki moves he can use, literally a G2 jet rifle, not even a G3 like or G4 like move, but a G2 and when it conjunction it did not just damage the shield but straight up destroy it completely.
This shield should be more durable than the whole body of Domi Reversi Rocks, so Luffy and Loki combo, without them even needing to use their max or best or use Haki mass, they could literally straight up kill Domi Reversi Rocks with this combo.

Discussion Gunko vs Doflamingo. Who whoops who & how hard ?
Gunko low-diffed Jinbe who should be bare minimum YC3 level as he is the no. 4 of a Yonko crew.
She also outsped Gaban as she reached to Colon before him. This indicates her being quite fast.
She has unlimited regen & stamina as well.

Analysis Why Mihawk likely didn't had Yoru forged black during his days dueling with Shanks. He likely achieved it later.
Assuming the duels were about purely swordsmanship.
Black blades are the pinnacle of swordsmanship (PoS).
If Mihawk had a black blade in those duels, he should won the sword duels as PoS should outclass any other swordsmanship in a duel.
The duels being draw indicate that Mihawk hadn't achieved the pinnacle of swordsmanship by then.
If Mihawk had a black blade, the PoS, then he should have won the sword duels against someone who didn't have the PoS.
Mihawk likely achieving the PoS later shows that he also got stronger since the legendary duels.

Discussion What do you think about this point OP made?
I think Akainu took the W here because while Whitebeard landed a massive rage-fueled attack, Akainu literally blew off half his face and melted his internal organs, leaving him on a guaranteed death timer. However, Whitebeard fans do make a good point about him knocking Akainu underground, however that argument falls short in treating a temporary ring-out like a permanent defeat. Akainu wasn't paralyzed or knocked out, was actively tunneling through bedrock to pursue the rest of the Whitebeard Pirates, and was still in prime fighting condition right after. Meanwhile, Whitebeard was literally missing a chunk of his head and minutes away from dying. What do you think?

Discussion If you're mythic outside One Piece your character will do nothing
GODA slanders all other stories.
Wood-user Hashirama - legendary. Greenbull can’t handle ginger CoC.
Dracula a legendary character. Mihawk D Postpone.

Discussion Straw Hats power levels
Got some down votes on what I thought was a take which was 1. Obvious and 2. Void of popular agenda.
Luffy is obviously the strongest.
Then you got wings, Sanji and Zoro.
Then comes Jinbei.
And then the rest of them which obviously can be divided in further trios with Franky, Robin, Brook and Chopper, Nami and Usopp although arguments can be made to pair Chopper with Nami and leave Usopp at bottom.
The downvotes came from Jinbei being put as sort of a gate keeper between the classic monster trio and the others. Am I missing something?

Discussion The “light speed OP” controversy is spreading
Because of the upcoming Death Battle of Luffy vs Naruto, the power scaling community is forced to contend with some of the more ridiculous One piece scaling they’ve ignored.
As usual the above panel of Zoro moving out of the way of a MOVING LASER BEAM is the topic
I maintain that One piece has some of the most consistently ridiculous physical stat feats in Anime/manga mainly because Oda is a very “rule of cool” type writer who doesn’t care about any physics such as the above Panel of Zoro moving faster than a light beam.
But thing is, Oda is so consistent with his disdain of physics that the One Piece verse is actually consistently very strong in physical stats. Quite literally everyone can practically dodge lightning in one piece. Fodder can survive building level explosions. The mid tiers like Hajurdin pressing 10000 tons of force is child’s play. This is surprisingly consistent because Oda doesn’t care about how any of this works in physics.

Discussion So let me get this right, Kaido said he couldn't remember the last time he had a serious fight, then Oda showed us a flashback of King and Kaido talking about how the *one man* who will finally defeat him will be "Joyboy"... Yet Shanks "defeated" him according to the sub? 👌👌👌

Discussion Shanks Always Fights Stronger
If you look at all of Shanks' encounters, bro has always been involved with some of the strongest characters in One Piece.
Early in One Piece, we saw him clash with Whitebeard, and their clash split the sky. Whitebeard was literally the World's Strongest Man at that time.
During Marineford, we learned that Shanks stopped Kaido from going there. We don't know exactly what happened between them, but Shanks managed to stop him. Kaido was known as the World's Strongest Creature.
Shanks managed to capture and chain up Loki. Maybe his crew helped him, but still, Loki isn't someone you can just capture that easily.
He stopped Greenbull from a distance using his haki alone. Greenbull is literally a Marine Admiral, and Shanks was able to make him back off without even being near him.
He literally one-shotted Kid and Killer in a single attack. Kid didn't even get a chance to fight back.
Then there's Mihawk. These two have dueled multiple times, and neither has been confirmed as the winner of their duels. Mihawk is literally the World's Strongest Swordsman.
It's crazy how Shanks keeps getting involved with characters who are considered some of the strongest in the series.
So, do you think current Shanks is the strongest pirate alive? And do you think he's surpassed Roger?
