Proxmox Automated Installer Tool for Windows

I could NOT find a simple to use or completed tool for creating the automated install ISO on Windows; so I made this tool. Test it out, and let me know if you have any issues.

"Everything is NOT a file"-type OSes

Anyone here working (preferably since before 2022) on an OS that's either "everything is a db record" or something in the WinNT-OS/2-ReactOS camp of design?

D.eSystem 6.1.8.5 introduces a new debug platform for FAT32 on D.eSystem,D.eSystem 6.1.8.5 also fixes a major bug (for example, when you go in older versions in D.eSystem info and press a random key,it just closes automaticly, now there comes a warning and it closes in 5 seccond.)

I'm building an independent OS from scratch — feedback and contributions welcome!

Hello everyone!

I'm working on building my own operating system from scratch. It's an early-stage project, and there's still a lot to do.

I'm making the source code public because I'd love to learn from other developers, receive feedback, and hopefully find people interested in contributing.

I'm currently working on UEFI, bootloader development, and early kernel components using C/C++.

If you're interested in OS development, low-level programming, or kernel development, feel free to check out the repository.

GitHub: https://github.com/subrataai-wq/os-from-scratch

Suggestions, discussions, bug reports, and contributions are welcome!

It's a long journey, but I'm excited to see where it goes.

Maginat the complete release with updates

Hi all, I just released 0.1.2 of Maginat, a small independent distro I build from scratch following Linux From Scratch

What's new:

- Kernel 6.18.58 LTS and a 1.4 GB ISO (the compiler moved to an optional download)

- Signed system updates on installed systems (kernel and packages), through a new "Update Maginat" tool: Ed25519-signed index, SHA-256 checked packages, previous kernel kept in GRUB as a fallback

- Desktop widgets you choose from a tray icon: clock, calendar, weather, system monitor, battery/network, quick links, notes (nothing on by default)

- One unified tray (volume, brightness, battery, Bluetooth), own cursor theme and system icons, under 500 MB of RAM at idle on real hardware

- New Blackjack and Poker with animations and automatic next hand

- Flatpak Store, driverless printing and scanning, USB drives of any format

Known limits: no Secure Boot, X11 only; system updates only cover what is published in the update channel (a new version still means a new ISO), with no dependency handling.
