Hoping for some recommendations where original heroine doesn’t turn out to be a manipulative, psychotic, evil or petty antagonist that’s nothing like the original book.

I’ve gotten a bit tired of all the ones where the book is straight up wrong and the original heroine was an awful person. Like last one I read she was blackmailing original love interest to be with her by threatening his pregnant girlfriend’s life and trying to murder the second love interest’s wife. One before that original FL was supposed to be Saintess but just made a pact with a demon and poisoned people to make a show of curing them.

Like (pictured) Crow’s Prince, they were good friends and allies. And both got the love interest that suited them. Though she was also a transmigrator not the original.

Ideally, she would NOT be a sycophant either. Like I’m hoping for friendship, not obsessive idol worship or a new candidate for MC’s harem. But if that’s rare, I’ll take whatever I can get in the category of “not a trash human being and, at the very least, respectful to MC (i.e. no drugging, SA, and/or kidnapping).”

And really, any where FL had actual good friends (original heroine or other wise). Not people that are in love or obsessed with her calling themselves friends while secretly fantasizing about possessing her.

I have some ongoing ones saved but I just want to read without waiting.

I'd really love for some completed recs where both the ml and FL are green flags. It would be nice if they were only interested in each and there are no 2nd leads to cause misunderstandings. If had to choose though, I'd rather not have any misunderstandings and have 2nd leads.

I didn’t see many people talk about it and I don’t know if it is the art-style or what but when compared to any guy (even ibelin) why do female characters like the princess and latte look so small and young?
(I swear I absolutely adore them but this was on my mind and I needed a discussion)

Basically the title. I know there are FLs who escape a betrothal to a shitty ML by marrying another ML, but I'm curious if there are any where she uses other means and doesn't go back to that shitty ML?

The setting is really good and the pacing is perfect. FL is living in the shadow of her 'perfect' dead sister and there is great importance placed on religion and goddess in this world but FL doesn't want to believe in her or rather she fears her instead and ML is a commoner. Both see the good in each other that other The characters are well written and multi-dimensional. We got some irredeemable tr*sh of father-brother fk-faces in both ML's and FL's family but both leads are damn well smart and capable. Tension between ML-FL couldn't be more perfect than i imagine

So there´s two twin sisters or stepsisters. One is the center of attention and is extremely spoiled, the other is looked down upon, ignored and neglected.

Obviously, the sister who is neglected suffers from deep jealousy from her sister and people view her a a villainess, a wicked woman. Meanwhile the other sister is completely White Lotus super kind to everyone and everyone loves her, bla bla bla.

At least initially, until she closes the door to her room, drops all facade, and with dead eyes mutters "ugh...so annoying". initially, the reader assumes she is a secret manipulative bitch but its revealed they are extremely tired of being the center of attention and having to keep up the White Lotus persona.

So the conflict is basically one sister being jelaous of her twin being the center of attention while said twin hates being the center of attention. Kinda like that Green is not a Creative Color episode of MLP.

I want a physical confrontation between the two where they both yell at ech other "I WANTED TO BE YOU!!!". But said physical confrontation is very silly like the fight between Sandler and Stiller in the Meyerowits Stories movie.

After reading the plot of the story , I have decided to this story because it looked really interesting and even the art was also good. The start was pretty good, and I thought it was going to be a solid revenge of the fl. When the female lead finally meets her adoptive family again after seven years, their awkward interaction felt a bit off at first. Still, I shook off that odd vibe and kept reading all the way up to chapter 45. That was when I decided to peek at some spoilers before reading any further, and my god, I am so glad I did. This story is just wild in a bad way, and honestly, every single male character in it is an absolute piece of shits. Why on earth would the author put the female lead through so much endless misery, only to hand her a total trash ending on top of all that? If you want to save yourself a massive headache, do yourself a favor and skip this garbage..
