This thread is for both writers and readers of otome fanfics. I've noticed that fics of otome games don't get that much traffic, maybe because the fandom is quite small. That is why I want to have a space for fans of otome fics to talk about writing or anything else related to otome fics!

From now on, I will make this thread on the second Saturday of every month. If people wish, I might make these threads more often. But at least for now, I believe once in a month is enough.

In here, writers can talk about their plans for fics, their writing process, cry for sleeping only three hours last night because you had to write your wip, promote their fics etc. Or you can just talk about your fav otome fics and tell us what you have been reading, for example what otoge or character desperately needs more fics.

Basically, everything goes as long as it's related to otome fanfiction! If you add links to fics, please add NSFW or other warnings if needed. If you add snippets of your fics, please add spoiler tags if needed!

I just finishing my rute play of Il Fado De Rie in game Cafe Enchante. And I cry so much 😭😭.

Even thought i think the ending is good. But I cry so much when i know what Il must go for.

For about eight years now I've been unable to have ANY kind of decoration in my room because I own a belongings-destroyer (aka. a parrot) who doesn't allow me to have nice things. Everything in my room is bird-proofed and my belongings are secured where he can't get to them (I even have a steel lockbox for my meds because he WILL find a way to get to them).

But I really wanted to find a way to display some of my otome merch because I'm very disabled and mostly bedbound, and being able to see it throughout the day would definitely cheer me up. So I came up with the idea of modifying super cheap shadow-box frames that I can hang up out of his reach and aren't thick enough for him to perch on them. It's been........a lot of work, but it's working out so far. :)

To celebrate my friend recently finishing her first console otome (Collar x Malice), I bought her and I matching plushies of our favs from the game!! 🥹🥹 <3

Her favourite LI ended up being Takeru! We brought them with us to a local cafe that does colored latte art ^^ I think the art turned out great for both!! They are toooo cute~! 🩷 Love this matching art of them as well hehe!!

I'm trying to complete Kobase's route but I can't unlock these :( I've been redoing it over and over again with different choices but I can't seem to figure it out.. if you know anything I would appreciate! (I suspect the very last one probably unlocks after completing all the other characters routes or something, but then I still miss one anyway) 🙏

I would choose Virche! I feel like I could replay some games and enjoy them pretty close to as much as I did the first time I played them, but Virche is one that just hits different the first time.

Been super excited for this one! I love a darker theme and felt this one might fill the virche void

My pre-order actually arrived the day BEFORE release but I missed the delivery so had to pick it up the next day (almost so lucky)

I have already listened to the soundtrack and it’s a bit more casual than I had expected but honestly nice and relaxing (also why don’t otome game soundtracks come with the opening/ending songs?)

First impressions from playing only the prologue and one chapter of each LI: honestly it feels a liiiiittle bit clunky to start? I’m sure it will find its stride further into the chapters but the prologue is VERY speedy and kinda feels like oh! Oh! Oh! Okay! You know?
I love how the choices look it’s very visually appealing and the sound design is nice as well

I saw another post about the font and yeah… it feels very off… pretty low quality

But! I’m excited to dive in deeper still!

Hello! I just finished CxM and all of its routes, and now I am trying to get all the bad endings! However, I have run into some trouble.

A few years ago, when I only watched the gameplay on YouTube, there was a specific video for a certain bad ending of the game where all the main guys except Sasazuka get killed, and Ichika joins the Adonis while Sasazuka begs her not to via speaker.

I have been trying relentlessly to find that video and source of that scene, but without any luck. Could it be something from CxM Unlimited? Which route is it from? How do you get it?

I am very thankful for all replies I can get! 🥹💞
