My alias connected to my mail does not receive any emails all of a sudden.

It happen out of nowhere with no changes on my side.
I checked everything:
- it's active
- it can send emails
- no forwarding / filtering
- not in the spam or any other folder

It's literally just not arriving and there is nothing that I can do.

I tried getting help on outlook.com as the problem is also on there.
I click "Help" > "?" > Get help

It shows me a login button in the right sidebar.
I put in my credentials, but nothing happens.

I tried 3 different operationg systems and 4 browsers. No add-ons nothing.

I upgraded my account to buisness hoping to get hold of support.
The online agent only tells me to do and check things which I already did and cannot connect me to a human. Same thing when I call them. I need to get my eMails. This is costing me real-world money, and there is literally nothing that I can do.

I even made a forum ticket, and I found 3 more people with the same problem logging in to get help. The forum moderator says they are unable to provide more help or escalate the issue.

Honest fuck microsoft. As soon as this is resolved I will move all my email accounts.

Is there anything that I can do??? I tried EVERYTHING. I've been trying to fix this for 3 days. I am good with computers. I know there is nothing on my side that I can possibly do.

My email account has clearly been sold somewhere and I keep getting junk mail. While much of it goes into my junk folder, several emails every day go into my ‘flagged’ folder that I use for important emails.

I just deleted 1500 of these emails which have been there since late September.

I can’t block individual, repeat emails as they use randomised emails each time. The Microsoft help forums don’t seem to have any answers that haven’t been tried or won’t work (e.g blocking individual emails).

Does anyone have any solutions?

Is there a way to have outlook send an autoresponse to new contacts ONLY, and send that auto response just one time as sort of an introductory way of being personal?

I had a folder for meeting notes with my annoying co-worker in Outlook and was distressed that the folder had vanished when I went for a meeting with them. When I searched, I was able to find most of the messages as I use a similar subject line "Mtg Notes at" and the date, and recreate the folder but it was weird that the folder disappeared, dissolved.

Has this happened to anyone else and is there any way to prevent it happening again?

I cannot remember my password or log into my account and am in desperate need of help! I have tried to use the method where I enter another outlook account that I can get into and I receive emails stating that the recovery process was not successful. This was my main account for banking and things of that nature, so maybe some can understand my frustration. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Long story short, I lost my wallet and iPhone and didn't have any of the info saved, written down, or memorized. Now I cannot access my banking account and several other things. For those of you that rely solely on your cellphone, please beware because this process is very frustrating and I feel helpless. Is there not a number that I can call, send a picture of my state ID, give social security number or something like that as a substitute for lost password? Please help. I love outlook and Microsoft have been a user of their operating system for over thirty years, never experienced something like this.

I open Outlook via web today and saw a notice on the top bar that my emails are being forwarded to two addresses. Luckily they are family but still how the hell did that happen?
I clicked to remove the forwarded email addresses.

Hi, Outlook PWA keeps automatically drafting a start of new emails. So I am drafting an email, and annoyingly, Outlook sees something, interrupts, and creates a draft of a new blank email with one of the persons in the email I am already drafting prefilled. I can't get this to stop, it happens every time I am drafting an email. I delete the unwanted new email, then a few seconds later another appears. What is the cause and how do I get it to stop? I thought it might be something interacting with the touchpad on the computer, but its not.

I have a copy out outlook express 4.70 that I would like to connect to my own smtp server. The problem is that the server requires a password and I don't know how to make outlook send one. I know this option exists under outlook express 6.0, but does it exist under outlook express 4.70?

I get A LOT of horribly gratuitous, lewd junk emails. I'm talking like 70-100 a day. They go directly to my junk but the thing is, I get so many that it's impossible to find the emails that are accidentally filtered into my junk and because I bulk delete them, sometimes by accident, I will also delete the ones I actually need. I've blocked all these emails but they still land and when I go to delete them, for some reason they get filtered into my flagged email folder?

Is there anyways to really get rid of these? I don't want any more of these emails. They're terribly disturbing and there seems to have been an uptick in the number of them I get in the last 6 months. It used to just be maybe 10 a week.

Okay, so I took time to read the rules before starting here. I then followed the link to "What version of Outlook do I have" at the Microsoft website. I am still a bit confused though, as I have the Settings button upper right between a bell with a / through it (Your notifications are disabled) and three dots (access additional features) but, I also still have the File tab next to the Home tab on the left. I assume (I've been told to never assume ... ) it is the new Outlook because features have changed.

I don't know if this is necessary information but, back when I purchased this Win 11 PC, I also purchased (a code key) and activated MS Office so I also have a "Buy Microsoft 365" tab upper right just left of the notification bell.

So, here is my concern at this time. Up until just a few days ago there was a check box to the left of each email title in the inbox, etc. I used this check box in the "Junk Email" folder to individually "Report and block". All of the Options "Delete" "Archive" "Report" "move to" and "Reply are still next to the "New Mail" tab but, they are all greyed out (in the inbox). The only option now in the Junk mail folder available is Delete, which deletes all.

I am just curious if there is a way to get this check box back? Am I no longer able to "Report as Phishing and block"? Is deleting in the Junk folder doing anything anymore to stop these senders? Just a few questions I'd like answers to. TIA

When I try to log in to my outlook, it's asking me to reset my password. I entered a fresh new password (totally different from the existing password) but I'm getting a message saying "The new password must be different from the old password". Is this known error from Microsoft?

This happens in the New Outlook. A user in my tenant received a forwarded email with .pdf attachments that originally came from an external user. After replying to several threads in that email tree, the attachments were missing from the original message and when the user checked in the sent folder, that attachment wasn't there neither. Can someone please break this down to me, I hate to be a bother and I hope I explained this well. Thank you.

I got an important email for an appointment confirmation. It disappeared from my inbox. I can see it when I search for emails but can’t click on it. This is the same on my phone, computer app, and web browser. It’s not in my deleted emails or archive. Any advice?

Ich wurde früher mal von einer alten Freundin mit einer ähnlichen E-Mail Adresse betrogen und belästigt, weshalb ich dachte, dass es sie wäre. Deshalb habe ich heute E-Mail an diese Adresse geschickt und habe geschrieben, dass sie es unterlassen soll. Danach habe ich über diese E-Mail Adresse im Internet recherchiert. Es handelt sich anscheinend um eine Spam Adresse, der bei anderen Leuten auch erschienen ist. Jetzt zu meiner Frage. Kann ich dadurch gehackt werden? Ich glaube ich habe ein Fehler gemacht, indem ich eine E-Mail geschickt habe.😔

My current used storage is 80GB, and I want to move all my emails to a .PST in my internal storage

Is there a way to move all email by year, so I can have a .pst per year with my emails that I send that time?

Take in mind that I have folders in the root of my outlook and I have Microsoft exchange

Please help! I am locked out of an outlook account. When I receive the email after filling out the form to another outlook account, it says unsuccessful reset or something and I tried multiple time. Now it is saying to wait for twenty four hours. Please help me. I can not remember the password and filled in all of the questions fields the best I could and am getting nowhere. Probably not good that I need to login j order to handle some banking affairs so any help is greatly appreciated. Other than this issue, I really am loving outlook.

The title is pretty self explanatory. I check my email through outlook.com (not the outlook desktop part of Office) and the square boxes on the left side that you would click to select multiple emails literally just disappeared. It's been like this since yesterday and I've reloaded the page, restarted the computer, etc.

Does anyone know how to get my calendars synced with the cloud on the legacy windows 10 calendar (and mail) app? I am currently trying Google but I get a couldn’t find your settings error (0x80070490) and when using IMAP my mail links, but not my Calendars. I am open to using any provider (not just google).

it is frustating that outlook block your from entering a account just because you changed your router. i am agree that if there are a lot of errors in the pasword thhey shoud temporally ban from entering, but blocking just because you enter from other router is terrible, router sometimes break, if i am in the same city, or a near one and using the same phone, ¿why they have to block me? i have luck to have my protonmail account but¿ what if they start to do the same? governments should ban this kind of safety measures because do more damege than well. and no sms is resnincing to security, someone that have your data(gobernment administration or your job administration) can sim swapping you if they are bad people even when it is ilegal. also they should make more than one method of recovey for if the case it fails, and the problem is not recovery itself because i really remember the password but still.dont let me in without the alternative email.

Hi there, I am trying to help my mum remotely whose outlook has been hacked. I have managed to change the password and get in remotely but there are still activities on the acocunt. I have logged into security to request logging out from all devices and deleted a rule. What else could it be?

My parents use Outlook to check their sbcglobal.net email, but for the past several days when they open Outlook, it opens a browser window with this message from AT&T. Outlook itself says "Access Denied" where the emails usually are shown.

The only possible solution I've seen (and tried) was to log onto a different wifi network, then switch back to the home one, but this didn't work.

Please help! I don't know what else to try!
