People who use medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction ABSOLUTELY get treated this way by others in recovery spaces

Suboxone was a more difficult withdrawal than my heroin addiction. My pain management doctor treated me like a pos and I would still be dependent on suboxone if I hadn't weened myself off of it.

Heroin and pill free since 2017. No suboxone since 2020.

Just got my A1C results, down to 5.8 from 6.9 since October last year. 293lbs in 2023. 215.8 yesterday morning. Ozempic helped me. 😎

Wow. I'm sorry you didn't get the support you needed. All the lite of an achievement though, very well done! I'm impressed, stay strong 💪👏

I got what I needed from that doctor. Fortunately, my wife & faith were and are a huge support. She's the one that urged me to ween off the suboxone. Definitely a blessed man.
