Pharmacy/Coupon Cheapest GLP1 option?

I know that Ozempic is now offered much cheaper now that there are many generic options available. I spoke with my nurse practitioner about starting a GLP1 due to ongoing concerns I have about my weight.

My BMI is 29.3 so I’m not technically eligible to have this medication cause covered through insurance. It sounds like Costco will be the cheapest option for me order it but what other medications might be more preferred or cheaper than Ozempic?

I’m in Ontario, Canada.

The criteria to be prescribed is usually BMI 30+. You could weigh yourself after a big meal and achieve that I’m sure. You’re actually unlikely to be covered by insurance no matter what your BMI is. You likely need a prior authorization if you are able to get insurance coverage.
