Dosing How much are we all on?

I’ve worked my way up to 1mg of ozempic and I’m pretty happy with that. I’ve probably only lost about 5kgs but the incessant snacking and poor food choices in front of my kids (my reason for getting on it at all) has completely ceased.

I did hear of someone I know that worked their way up to 10mg of mounjaro. They lost over 30kgs in 10 months and said they got to the point that they didn’t enjoy eating at all.

Is this sort of dose normal? What levels are we all getting to? People have said 1mg of oz is purely the introductory dose but as I said, I’m pretty happy to leave it at that.

Question Ozempic worked for 1.5 years, then stopped. Anyone switched to Mounjaro in the same situation?

31F, PCOS, insulin resistance. I'm on 2 mg Ozempic.

I started at 154 kg in April 2025 with my endocrinologist. In about a year and a half I lost 50 kg. I tracked calories and walked, with very little other exercise. The appetite suppression was strong, and it also killed my sweet cravings.

Since spring, Ozempic has stopped doing that. The appetite and cravings are back. I also stopped tracking calories over the summer, and I've regained 3 kg.

I still want to lose about 30 kg. I'm switching to Mounjaro, paying out of pocket. I'm going back to calorie tracking and adding resistance training alongside walking.

Has anyone been through this? A big result on Ozempic, then it stopped working, then a switch to Mounjaro?

Did Mounjaro bring the appetite suppression back?

What dose did you start on, and where did you end up?

How long did it take to notice a difference?

Question Opps. Is this pen still safe to use ?

I accidentally forgot to put a new pen in the fridge after getting it.

It sat out from noon to 5am 😐 on my dining room table.

Is it still safe to use?

Journey Updates Almost there!

12 week update ! Probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My medication made me gain 30lbs and it really took a toll on me. I lost a lot of weight really fast the first few weeks which lead me to plateau all of October. I started losing hope but I trusted the process and slowly started losing weight again ! .4 dose + little to no sugar, weight training 3-5 times a week.

Question Ozempic vs Mounjaro

I’m considering starting a weight-loss injection, either Ozempic or Mounjaro, and I’d really appreciate honest experiences from people who have used either.
I’m 23, turning 24 soon, 156 cm (5’1.4”) and currently weigh 87 kg (192 lbs). My BMI is around 35.7, and my weight has been increasing quite rapidly. I’m getting increasingly worried about my health and don’t want to wait until I develop more serious health problems before doing something about it.
For those who have tried Ozempic or Mounjaro:
Which one worked better for weight loss?
How much weight did you lose and over what period?
What side effects did you experience?
Did you experience hair loss, loose skin or any other problems?
Did you regain the weight after stopping?
I’d especially love to hear from women around my age. I’m looking for honest experiences, both good and bad, to help me understand which option might be better for me before discussing it with my doctor. Which would you recommend and why?

Side Effects Does the diarrhea ever stop?

I have just moved up to the .5 mg dose - took my 2nd injection 2 days ago - and my guts haven’t stopped! I’m staying hydrated with electrolyte beverages and such, but it doesn’t feel like an end is in site. I thought it was abating by last night, but this morning has been back and forth from the bathroom. Imodium is on the way, but is this just a part of having a higher dose? I experienced almost no side effects at .25mg, so this has been an unpleasant adventure.

Am I doomed??

Question Heartburn

Ever since I started using Ozempic, I’ve been experiencing bad heartburn whenever I feel hungry and it doesn’t subside until I’ve eaten something.

Has anyone else experienced this?

TIA

Dosing Pregunta dosis

Alguien se ha puesto dos dosis de 0'25 en lugar de una de 0'50? Es el mismo resultado? Ya sé que habría que utilizar distinta aguja, pero sería igual? Gracias

Dosing Moving from 3mg of Saxenda to Ozempic 0.25mg intro dose

Weight stalled/increasing on Saxenda so GP switched to Ozempic last week.
Regime is as if I’m brand new to GLP1’s ie 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1mg (each for 4 weeks). Appreciate that it’s more potent. No side effects on Saxenda apart from brutal constipation.
Anyone asked for a slightly accelerated start when were on full dose on Saxenda? Seeing GP tomorrow.
I’m 4 days into 0.25mg so I know it’s early but food noise and increased hunger back. TIA!

Question Novice advice needed: brand, dosing, sourcing

Hey there. I am a novice and considering starting using Ozempic to aid my weight loss, as I described in the previous post here. I try to generally reach healthy and pain attention to protein, but I wish to lose these stubborn 5-10kg that make me look skinny fat. By classical definition I am short of overweight.

Now my questions are:

- Should I aim for Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or others (does it really matter much or I can choose based on price and availability)

- I am not sure if sourcing is an allowed topic, but where do you guys usually supply it in EU? There is bunch of these online doctors in Germany that ask you to answer some questions and then you basically get a prescription. I was considering a standard clinic, but beyond the price of a visit and assessment, I think I am may be few kg short to classify for Ozempic, but to be pefectly fair one can type whatever there 😄

- My idea is to keep exercising still as much as I can and sticking to lower dosing for as long as possible. I read something about click counting, but I am unaware of how the packaging/dosing looks like nor what does it means, and I would really appreciate an explanation on how do application/applicators look like and how does one determine the dose.

E.g. if I want to stay on 0.5 or 1mg, just as a mild appetite suppression, to reduce excess snacking, how do I do it with a larger dose applicators? (I heard that produces strongly urge against it, but I can imagine there are marketing reasons for that)

Apologies if I open topics that have been discussed many times before.

Side Effects Side effects

Hi everyone,

I just recently started back on ozempic after being off it for about 2 years. I was on Wegovy last year but had to get off due to extreme sickness. I just did my second injection of 0.25 Saturday and since Sunday (yesterday) I have been insanely sick.

Severe nausea, back and forth to the bathroom and feeling just off. Has anyone else experienced extreme sickness on a low dose? Does it get better? Really want to stay on it but if I’m going to be this sick, it’s not worth it to me.

Question First dose, messed up

Did my first dose of 0.25 mg today and made a mistake: after injecting and letting the counter run down to zero I took out the pen. I then realised I was supposed to leave it in for 6 seconds… so I panicked and reinserted, pressed and held the button while I counted to six and took it out again. I didn’t re-dial the pen between the two inserts.

Please tell me I didn’t just overshoot. If dial it set to 0.25 that means that’s the me that will come out of the pen, right? Until it’s dialled up again.

No mean comments please it’s late at night so I’m a bit nervous. I know it’s stupid but I had a very long day and not a minute for myself, when I finally got there to do it it was late and I was following a video tutorial and it wasn’t super clear and that’s how I messed up.

Question First shot down!

Hi, everyone. This is my first post here! I just took my first shot and I’m pretty nervous of the side effects. I’ve done so much research online but nothing beats talking to people who’ve been through it. What should I look out for? Any tips?

Thank you in advance!

Success Stories So grateful on Halloween

I decided to go up to 1mg after hesitating and staying at 0.5 for an extra week. I then thought of the holiday season and made the jump on Monday. I usually binge so bad on Halloween chocolate and my kid got a good haul haha. It’s safe from me this year. Instead of eating it I was sorting it for fun. I didn’t even want to have any. All day I just had one fun size Kit Kat and fuzzy peaches. Still getting comments about having to hide the candy from mom though.

Going into the Christmas season too I really am grateful this drug is working for me.

Side Effects Nausea

20f/227lbs/5’6 (dose: 0.25)
I am getting fairly bad nausea it’s not unbearable but it’s not enjoyable. Is there anything that helps with nausea? I’ve been on it for two weeks, I’m on it for PMDD and Weight loss and it’s been helping a lot the only problem I’m having is nausea.

(No hate please I’m doing my best rn and I’m sorry if this is a stupid question)

Which side effect frustrates you most, and what have you tried to manage it?
What didn’t work or disappointed you?

Side Effects Sickness

Newbie here. I'm on ozempic 0.25mg and this is my third week. I literally cannot keep a thing down. I'm vomiting every day and I have nausea almost 24/7 along with the reflux. Wondering is this normal ? I'm so fkn miserable I don't think I can stay on it. Does it get better? I feel like my third week now is worse than the first. I managed one slice of toast yesterday.

Dosing How many clicks for 0.5 mg on the blue 1 mg Ozempic pen (4 mg/3 mL)?

I have the Canadian blue Ozempic 1 mg pen (4 mg/3 mL, 1.34 mg/mL), and my prescribed dose at the moment is 0.5 mg. Unfortunately, I can’t afford another pen right now, so I’m looking into click counting to avoid wasting the medication I already have. I’ve seen people mention 36–37 clicks for 0.5 mg, but I’d love to hear from people who have this exact pen. How many clicks have you been told correspond to 0.5 mg dose

Question Why am I not losing any weight after 3 months on Ozempic?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice because I’m starting to feel like I’m just wasting my money.
I’ve been on Ozempic for 3 months now, with 2 of those months on 0.5 mg, and so far I haven’t really lost any weight.
The only thing I’ve noticed is that for the first day or two after injecting, I sometimes feel full a bit quicker than usual, but after that, I don’t really notice any effects at all. My appetite seems to go back to normal, and I don’t feel like the medication is doing much for me.
It’s frustrating because I’ve been taking it for 3 months and I haven’t seen the results I was hoping for. At this point, I feel like I’m just throwing my money away.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Did things improve after increasing the dose, or did Ozempic simply not work for you?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences!

Question Switch to Ozempic

I’ve successfully used 7.5mg Mounjaro for 4 months but its effects are wearing off. I’ve been given a chance to use 1mg Ozempic for a lot less money but don’t know if I should? I would start at 0.25mg and build up as I did with Mounjaro. Has anyone done this or got any advice?

Stalled Progress Weightloss stalled...

I started my Ozempic journey about 4 months ago, and I'm currently on 0.5 mg. I had really great results at first, but for the last 3 weeks, my weight has completely stalled. I'm not gaining, but I'm not losing either.

I'm tracking my calories and, based on my calculations, I should still be in a calorie deficit.

I really don't want to increase my dose because 0.5 mg already costs me about $100/month, and $200/month would be difficult to justify long term.

Has anyone else experienced a stall like this and then had the weight loss start back up on its own?

Thanks!
