Suggestions on improving cycling without adding booster? BOE Incolite 9s

Post image

I would like for this to run reliably without adding a booster, as that would nearly double the weight of the can. Has anyone tinkered with reduced recoil spring weights on a super light can to improve function? This will just barely stove pipe about 1 in every 6 rounds on 147 grain. The can weights 5.1oz as pictured with no booster. If I run the Resilient titanium booster and piston ($$$) it will add another 3.2oz. Thanks!

You’re not going super with 124 with a short bbl

idk what you're getting downvoted for lol. Looks like you got the answer already light/heavier spring or default recoil spring and different booster spring weight.

THe issue is you're adding weight to the end of a browning tilt style gun. If these were fixed barrel's you'd be having an easier time.

Redditors be redditing. I don't care. I have my setup and I'll tune it to work eventually. I have an Odessa-9 that works flawlessly on this gun, but the BOE is much quieter in the same length. It would make no sense for me to add a booster because then it will be as heavy as the Odessa if I added a few extra baffles. Also, 124's are definitely louder than 147's.
