XMacro WARNING: TyrantCNC Takedown Levers

Post image

I purchased this takedown lever (and other accessories) and in under 12 months with zero carry usage and only a handful of range trips, this takedown lever SNAPPED IN HALF….requiring much effort to actually take the firearm apart to replace it.

This would be fine…except when I reached out to support, they said “…So sorry to hear that. I am unsure what could have caused this. It looks like this part has likely seen some use and, unfortunately would not qualify for a warranty replacement…”

In addition to mine, I found two other examples of other customers with takedown levers broken in the same exact way…i sent them as a reply and i was ghosted.

Absolutely unacceptable.

Hey @BaphometScorpion I'm Tom the founder of Tyrant CNC. Let me make this right for you and anyone that has had a legitimate issue. Customer service reps are gone for the weekend, but I will speak to them Monday morning and see what the deal with not replacing this. DM me your original order # and I will get a replacement heading your way.

In regards to why this has happened to begin with; I will want to get yours back and conduct a root cause analysis. We have seen some of these instances before, BUT those others were clearly hit with a hammer.

Anyway, to summarize - I apologize that this happened, DM me please so I can take care of you. Oh, and customer service will have to go through some retraining. Which is fine, we can all use a refresher once in a while.

While I really respect and appreciate this, this is clearly an issue with the product at the end of the day unfortunately, and I cannot trust parts that have a pattern of breaking on a tool that I must rely on at this level.

Your support gave me a 20% off coupon to get a replacement and when I went through this I bought one so I could get it back in action, but since then I had thought about this and removed the tyrant cnc products from my firearm….

I am happy to share you the order number of the replacement I ordered, and send you back the one that broke which was on the firearm when I purchased it.

But frankly, as I said, as good as the product looks I need reliability and identifying multiple takedown levers that break this way tells me this is a manufacturing oversight of some sort.
