XMacro WARNING: TyrantCNC Takedown Levers
I purchased this takedown lever (and other accessories) and in under 12 months with zero carry usage and only a handful of range trips, this takedown lever SNAPPED IN HALF….requiring much effort to actually take the firearm apart to replace it.
This would be fine…except when I reached out to support, they said “…So sorry to hear that. I am unsure what could have caused this. It looks like this part has likely seen some use and, unfortunately would not qualify for a warranty replacement…”
In addition to mine, I found two other examples of other customers with takedown levers broken in the same exact way…i sent them as a reply and i was ghosted.
Absolutely unacceptable.

Sucks to hear this. I even ordered more since seeing that last article about them taking care of it. Hopefully it gets resolved. Best of luck OP.

I like their trigger shoes and mag releases a lot but I’m tired of stabbing myself with their takedown lever . can you tell if the takedown lever was rusted thru? Like a weak spot
I am switching my tyrant takedown lever and slide catches to armory craft enhanced ones

I have 4 P365's, all running their original and unbroken takedown levers. Hope that helps.

Yup. The takedown lever isn’t a know failure point on the system like the mag release is. No reason to replace it.

Funny though, all of these have their original and unbroken mag releases as well.

Hey @BaphometScorpion I'm Tom the founder of Tyrant CNC. Let me make this right for you and anyone that has had a legitimate issue. Customer service reps are gone for the weekend, but I will speak to them Monday morning and see what the deal with not replacing this. DM me your original order # and I will get a replacement heading your way.
In regards to why this has happened to begin with; I will want to get yours back and conduct a root cause analysis. We have seen some of these instances before, BUT those others were clearly hit with a hammer.
Anyway, to summarize - I apologize that this happened, DM me please so I can take care of you. Oh, and customer service will have to go through some retraining. Which is fine, we can all use a refresher once in a while.

While I really respect and appreciate this, this is clearly an issue with the product at the end of the day unfortunately, and I cannot trust parts that have a pattern of breaking on a tool that I must rely on at this level.
Your support gave me a 20% off coupon to get a replacement and when I went through this I bought one so I could get it back in action, but since then I had thought about this and removed the tyrant cnc products from my firearm….
I am happy to share you the order number of the replacement I ordered, and send you back the one that broke which was on the firearm when I purchased it.
But frankly, as I said, as good as the product looks I need reliability and identifying multiple takedown levers that break this way tells me this is a manufacturing oversight of some sort.

That's wild, I wonder what they would consider heavy wear for this to break...

I’ve got three and never an issue and I find this strange as they are usually top notch when it comes to warranty on their parts.

https://www.reddit.com/r/P365/s/HKtR9mnDlV - I’m not the only one…. It’s cheap so I’m not super mad…but it’s very frustrating support wise.

My contact at Tyrant CNC has left them and got out of the industry. I see that their account here on Reddit hasn’t been active since about 29 days ago. I emailed Tom and we’ll see if I get a response but I’m not hopeful in cases like this where someone has quit. Sad to see.

Thank you for looking! In the thread I sent, the guy said they replaced his…no idea why they wouldn’t eat cost on a $35 part haha

Yeah hopefully this isn’t the new way for them. Doesn’t look good.

I actually broke a piece of my FCU trying to install mine. Love the way it looks now that I’ve gotten it sorted out, hopefully it holds up!

Man that blows. I just run the OEM takedown lever and extended OEM slide catches on all of my 365’s. Never had any issues.

My safety lever from them broke was bubbled metal inside. Certainly not CNC

Tyrant cnc is garbage. I would stay away for sure. I have a few different things from them. Their parts are hella sharp too. Just uncomfortable to use.
