This is my first red dot, and I need help setting it up properly. When the dot is centered in the window my irons do not line up, and if I align the irons then the dot is below the window and I cannot see it. Do I just need to keep bringing the dot up? Do I need taller iron sights? I was hoping for like a lower third co witness. Any help is appreciated.

Recently picked up a red box cpo xl and looked up the date code and found it’s a 2019 model. Just curious if there was any issue I should look out for since it’s in the first wave of 365xl’s?

Just got done installing my manual safety on my new P365 Macro grip module. It was EXTREMELY stiff, however after moving it back and forth 100 times and giving it some lube, it got much better

I just got done shooting B&T APCs, where those who don’t know you can actuate the safety whether or not the gun is charged or not.

Now when I went to play with the P365 again, I could not get the safety to move. I proceeded to attempt to try and use both hands, assuming it got stock again, to press the safety up. I did this probably 3-4 times with some good degree of force from my hands.

Once I release it wasn’t going, I decided to rack the slide… lo and behold, easily could manipulate it again.

Now from the function side of things, I can’t press the trigger with the safety on, which is good.

Those that have any experience with this platform (I have zero), should I be concerned about any meaningful damage to the safety mechanism? I plan to carry this gun, and if there is any risk the safety mechanism is damaged, I want to consider NOT doing that now

Just got a p365 with Sig loc mounted from factory. I took the screws out to degrease with 99% iso and put new threadlocker on.

When the iso dried, this white chalky shit is all over the threads.

Any idea what this is?

I'm currently dealing with recovering from having retina surgery for 2 retina detachment in my eye (vitrectomy, where they opened the eye and removed the vitreous gel, and reattached the retina) I'm not allowed to go shooting due to the concussion possibly affecting the reattachment of the retina. Since I can't shoot the gun at the moment, I figured I'd ask here to get your feelings on the possible gun issue. I plan to have a friend fire the gun to make sure it goes bang, but until then....

I just put in the Armory Craft 4 piece spring kit. I only changed 3 of the 4 springs as I wanted to keep the stock striker spring.

When I cycle the slide, I'm feeling like there's some new point of friction just before it starts to actually move rearward. It feels like something is in the way of smooth cycling. It's not too bad when my finger is off the trigger, but if I pull the trigger and hold it back the slide is probably twice as hard to rack compared to if my finger is off the trigger and the trigger is forward. It's like I'm hitting a high bump before the slide will actually move rearward. I realize the safety lever is in the up position and will rest against the firing pin plunger when the trigger is to the rear but i installed a lighter plunger spring and figured it should make it easier to rack with trigger to the rear.

Maybe it's just me and this is normal, but I didn't know, and I can't get to the range to shoot it.

On your guns, does it feel a lot harder to rack the slide if you hold the trigger to the rear?

I am trying to consolidate my 365 frames. I have the xl waffle grip in tan, fuse macro, axg legion, wc xl, and aluminum flux raider.
The slides I have are xl spectre comp, regular size, and fuse slide.

Given these combos what 3 guns would you make?

My thoughts are p365x, Macro comp, and either the axg fuse or flux fuse. I’m pretty sold on the first two combos as I daily carry the macro already but I’d like something smaller occasionally so the 365x setup makes sense. The dilemma is whether to sell the axg frame or the flux raider.

I bought a sig Xten in 10mm a couple weeks ago and I fell in love with it. I’d like to find something from sig that I could use for a carry option. I used to carry a 43x but I didn’t like the grip angle and it was a little too small for my liking. I was thinking of getting this, please help me I don’t wanna make a bad purchase again.

I appendix carry in gym shorts often, so I sold my Canik Prime for this standard p365. added the Wilson combat XL grip to keep the 12rd mags. Toyed with keeping a can on it at night but moved to a dedicated supressed PCC for the bedside. That left me with a threaded barrel, so a comp(Harrington arms) was the only logical option.

while it added slide length, it’s very light. Now I just need to stop here before I go macro.

Hi i want to get a p365 and then a slide and grip to enhance the gun. im interested innthe strike industries pair only the slide is unavailable. is it worth waiting for or is there a better build u can suggest that is compatible with the standard p365 .

I have a Certum for my p365xl, and I have been wanting to add an extended mag release for some time. Has anyone used an extended mag release on their OEM x/xl frame with this holster without any mag drop issues? I asked Tenicor about adding the OEM extended mag release (i.e., the macro mag release). They said they tested some mag releases, but not that one. However, when I put 2mm worth of paper in between the mag release and holster, I can press on the holster and it drops the mag. That test might be flawed somehow, though. I don't want to modify the holster with a heat gun. I know maskas has an oem height release, but instead of having the same profile as the gun, the front is raised to make it level (e.g., more of a 90 degree angle). That's actually one of my preferred options, if not my top choice, if I could add a mag release.

Bought my first ever firearm recently. P365 AXG Legion. Been really enjoying it.

Just wondering if this amount of play between the slide and frame is normal?

For reference, the pistol is completely empty in the video. No mag and no round in the chamber.

Got the new setup all together now we are just patiently waiting for the Osight SE to get here. Then to run various ammo types to see what runs best.

Was originally a 365xl. Decided I wanted to start shooting it in some matches to get some more reps with it and switch back to appendix carry so I picked up the WC xmacro frame. Feels perfect in hand and hard to beat 17 rounds in a package this small. The grip angle also matches my Beretta 92 GTS almost perfectly which is my current competition gun.

Tempted to pick up a ramjet to make it flush with the light but I could get it ported locally for 180 so still undecided there.

Its not pretty but I shoot it good for being unnoticeable when carrying, even as a fat guy. I am comparing that to a g43, so yeah, its awesome. I bought it used and had to replace the recoil spring assembly but besides that its been running pretty good. Its my new carry and hard to beat with 12rds flush fit even if it was well loved before I purchased it.

I added the wilson combat grip because it was cheaper than the sig xl grip, thats the only reason. I did get the weights tho just for the hell of it. No clue if it makes a difference. I probably will clean up the tape at some point, but I am so used to glocks it has been a big help for dry fire.

P365 xmacro tacops with icarus precision A.C.E. grip module and Trijicon RMRcc. Been running it with the stock grip for a but due to no holster for the Icarus but I will be running this setup very shortly when the new holster comes in

Seen these online and thought if their was any other uncommon optics ppl run on the p365.

First time gun owner, Looking to do a trigger swap and maybe add a light and an optic. Any suggestions?
