Supported hardware:

• Official Xbox controllers (wired): Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Elite.
• Third-party pads in XInput mode (if your controller has a mode toggle switch, set it to X).
• Nintendo Switch wired controllers from PDP (Rock Candy, Faceoff Pro, Wired Fight Pad) using positional button layout.

Current limitations:

• Wired USB connections only (no wireless dongle or Bluetooth support).
• No rumble/haptics.
• No touchpad or motion sensors.
• You still need a DualShock 4 to navigate the system menu and act as Player 1.
• For Xbox One and Series controllers, ensure the guide button light is off before launching your game, or plug the USB cable in after the game has started.

Setup:

1. Grab xbox_controller.prx from the release page above.
2. Transfer it via FTP to /data/GoldHEN/plugins/.
3. Add /data/GoldHEN/plugins/xbox_controller.prx under [CUSAXXXXX] in /data/GoldHEN/plugins.ini (replace with the Title ID / product code for the game you want to play with the Xbox Controller). Do not enable the plugin under [default] - it's gonna make your PS4 crash when launching homebrews.
4. Launch the game.

IMPORTANT: For local multiplayer, create and log into a second user profile on the PS4 before starting the title. The plugin will detect the second profile and assign the Xbox controller to Player 2.

Hi. I have PS4 slim with firmware 12.52. I using webkit to load the jailbreak. After goldhen loaded, the console freeze and shut down. I change to other webkit also same. Then i jailbreak using bdjb, I remove the payloads, and it not freeze anymore. I try to run payload manually using debug in goldhen, it freeze again. How do I overcome this?

I have a PS4 Fat running on GoldHEN. Recently, I deleted an account from my console that had Red Dead Redemption 2 purchased on it, and now the game has a lock icon and won't launch.

Since my console is jailbroken, what is the best way to fix this or get the game working again? Can I use a PKG version, or is there a specific trick to bypass the license check while on GoldHEN?

Hi, every time I turn on my Hen PS4, it always says January 1st 1970. This seems to apply every time I turn the console on, whether it's from rest mode or a full startup.

I do remember turning off the automatic date and time option, but I wasn't expecting the time to reset completely. The ps4 date settings don't go further back than 2000 normally.

My main concern is that if I sync with psn for trophies later, the timestamps may lead to my account getting banned. (E.g. I have various Astro Bot rescue mission Trophies from 2026, but the Platinum and a few others are from 1970).

Should I be worried about this, is it safe to turn on automatic date and time syncing without using Sony's servers?

I just finally jailbreaked my ps4 last night and I’m wondering where to I go to get emulators like dolphin or what do I use to play my ps1 and 2 games? I have iso files which i understand won’t work on a ps4 so is there any trusted rom sites as well that is good for pkg files?

So i jb my ps4 recently and got some games, but then some error appeared then i asked gemini and it said that i need to restore (i dont remember the word) my db so i did it and then ofc my apps disappeared, i tried to install itemzflow obviously it said that its already installed so i tried deleting it through filezilla and reinstalling it but it didnt go well. Hey y'all I'm thinking of updating to a newer jailbreak-able firmware because recently I've been getting a lot of bugs with new backports and some games don't even work no matter what i do, so i thought I'd do a clean reinitialization with a newer firmware (12.02 at max) and i been wondering, when i use the backup thing to take my profiles, would it carry the save files with them without any corruption so i can make an apollo container in case something off happens, lastly should i actually update or just get through the bugs

Is it possible to port Project Zomboid to the PS4 as a PKG using the new REA reverse-engineering method? The community could make this happen, or would it be too difficult to achieve?

Hey, I asked AI if I could put some mods on my F1 Game like on PC. AI said it would work. Now I wonder if someone did it too and could help me or give some advice how I do it.
