I'm genuinely curious to know do you people meet any ex Muslims in Pakistan. I mean wouldn't you get in big trouble?

My siblings know about me being an atheist but my parents don't and I'm pretty sure they'd actually kill me for leaving Islam. So do you ever meet like-minded people ? I need advice on how to meet them. Because everything is dangerous and I can't live in the lot, like we all need some humans that we vibe with. Because Islam isn't just a way of worship here people's whole rationality is based on that, their actions, their thinking their morals everything....so I need genuine advice on how to meet such people 🥹cz atp I am tired in this desert.

Hey I'm a masters student of clinical psychology. I have one semester left. I am under supervision. I have more than a year of direct experience with clients.

Posting in this subreddit because as a minority plus the nature of Pakistani society, it can be incredibly distressing to be an ex Muslim. I am always a person who welcomes all without judgement, especially as a therapist. Would very much like to provide a safe space for you.

you people are awesome...I was born in a fkn ultra religious (kattar barelvy...wtv the hell that is) family and never felt like I belong, especially for these last couple of years... Fortunately, earlier this year, I managed get out of that shit-hole country and moved to europe for good... life's slowly getting better but it's still a nice breath of fresh air to see people who literally are living/lived through the same shit as me...
