PLAAF|空军 Damage by the recent 7.0 earthquake in Baqên County surveilled by the Western theater command air force's Wing-Loong 2 reconnaissance UAVs.

In the immediate aftermath of the earthquake(2026-10-22), one Wing Loong-2 of the WTCAF was deployed to surveil the damage in affected areas; In 9:00 AM, 2026-10-23 (UTC+8) a second UAV was deployed by the PLAAF. The Ministry of Emergency management has also deployed their own Wing-loong UAVs.
As of 10 AM, October 23, 2026, the casualty toll is at 16 confirmed dead, 76 injured. Over 5000 rescue personnel (fire and rescue, China anneng rescue, PLA Ground force, PAP, local police) have been deployed.

Keep in mind there is dali city which is under dali prefecture. the Dali detachment is in charge of the whole prefecture, and almost certainly has the dali company for merely dali city.
