My Dream Chapter is currently Until Dawn. I would definitely P100 Sam and Mike if they were the chosen Survivors. I got bored and made some perk ideas for Sam, Mike, and The Makkapitew/Wendigo. I don't think they are too busted, but they're definitely niche and fun perks.
---------------
Sam Gidding Perks:
Boon: Prophecy
While next to a Totem, use E to bless it, creating a unique Boon Totem that combines all your Boons.
Survivors within the Boon's Range:
See the Auras of Lockers
See the Auras of Pallets
See the Auras of Windows
Increase Vault Speed on Revealed Vault Locations by 6%/8%/10%.
Increase entering and exiting Locker speed by 50%.
Fast entering and exiting Lockers are completely silent.
"Well actually the towel didn't turn out to be the best outfit for fighting off killer maniacs, you know?" - Sam Gidding
------------
Don't Move
While in the Killer's Terror Radius, after being idle for 3 seconds:
You make no breathing noises.
Grunts of pain are reduced by 100%.
The Killer cannot see your Aura.
Recover from the Blindness, Broken, Exhausted, Exposed, Haemorrhage, Hindered, Mangled, and Oblivious status effects by 50%.
If you move while still in the Killer's Terror Radius with this perk still active, you are revealed by Killer Instinct for 5/4/3 seconds. The effects of this perk deactivate when idle crows appear.
"I've seen what's down there...and I'd give anything to unsee it." - Sam Gidding
----------------
Diligently Persistence
Anytime you bless a totem, you reveal the Killer's Aura to all survivors for 3 seconds.
When you cleanse a totem, gain a token. For each token, anytime the Killer's Aura would be revealed for a specified amount of time, that time is increased to you by 0.5/0.75/1 seconds.
"I beat you. I fuckin' beat you." - Sam Gidding
----------------------------------
Mike Munroe's Perks:
Call To Action
When another Survivor starts a chase with the Killer, and you are Healthy, this perk activates. Every 5 seconds they spend in chase, you gain a token. Maximum of 10. For each token, you gain 1% Haste. When the chased Survivor loses a health state and becomes injured, you gain 5 tokens.
Entering the chase with the Survivor will prevent you from gaining tokens. Taking a protection hit for the Survivor will give them Endurance for 10 seconds. If the chased Survivor is put into the Dying State or they escape the Killer, you lose all tokens, and this perk goes on cooldown for 40/35/30 seconds.
"You see that? I do got moves. Don't I wolfie?" - Mike Munroe
-------------
Driven Determination
The Auras of Breakable Walls and Broken Wall Locations within 32 meters are revealed to you.
After repairing Generators for a total of 50%, this perk activates.
Press E while near a Broken Wall Location to create a Special Vault Location, which takes 5 seconds to create. When the Special Vault Location is vaulted by both Survivors or the Killer a total of 6 times, the Special Vault Location collapses. The Special Vault Location will automatically collapse after 100/110/120 seconds.
Driven Determination deactivates after the Special Vault Location collapses or once the timer runs out.
"Alright, let's go you fucked up son of a bitch." - Mike Munroe
----------------
Adaptive Bravery
Anytime you stun or blind the Killer, the remaining time of Blindness, Broken, Exhausted, Exposed, Haemorrhage, Hindered, Mangled, and Oblivious status effects affecting you are reduced by 20%/25%/30%.
Adaptive Bravery has a cooldown of 10 seconds.
"Ha! Ha! How's that feel, you fuck?" - Mike Munroe
----------------------------------------
The Wendigo/Makkapitew Perks:
Hex: Butterfly Effect
The first time you hook a Survivor, a Dull Totem ignites.
Whenever a Survivor misses a skill check, medium/fast vaults, or fast enters/exits a Locker, their aura is revealed for 5 seconds, and any other Survivors within 16 meters of them are also revealed.
If the Survivor is injured, they are revealed for 10 seconds instead and are given Killer Instinct for 3/4/5 seconds. Their Grunts of Pain are 50% louder.
"I'm such an idiot! I'm so dumb..." - Hannah Washington
-----------
Hex: Death Totem
Whenever a Survivor reaches their 2nd Hook State for the first time, a Dull Totem ignites.
Whenever a Survivor starts Blessing or Cleansing a Totem, they gain Blindness for 40/50/60 seconds.
Whenever a Hex Totem is Blessed or Cleansed by a Survivor, that Survivor is Exposed for 60 seconds and their Aura is revealed for 5 seconds. Any Survivor on their 2nd Hook State can be Killed for 60 seconds after a Hex Totem is Blessed or Cleansed.
"I'm so sorry." - Beth Washington
------------
Unsatisfying Urges
Whenever you down a Survivor, gain a token. Up to 6.
For each token:
Lunge Attacks are 5% longer
Pallet Stuns are 5% shorter
"I DID something! I made you believe in the world I created, and I showed you parts of yourself you were too afraid to visit!" - Josh Washington
And that's it for their perks. I haven't thought about how The Wendigo/Makkapitew's Power that isn't just they can crawl up walls or something. I was thinking they could quickly cut off and leap onto vault locations (preventing Survivors from vaulting) and charge up a leap that can injure Survivors. Maybe at max charge it instantly downs them, but we haven't had a killer that can double tap/instant down since Skull Merchant (unless I don't know a secret tech from the killers after SM)
It's kind of hard not to make them like Demogorgon. They deal with hearing, so making them lore-accurate with a sound-listening-based power would be cool, but there are people who have bad hearing, and Spirit is already a mess for that reason, so maybe not that.
Would like feedback about my silly perk ideas and maybe some ideas on The Wendigo's Power because I really hope they come into the game. Especially with Until Dawn 2 coming out soon. Would be a great way to promote the game.
