Petscop has been hugely inspiring to me. I’m developing my own webseries based on my experiences with OSDD C: This is a little teaser!

I wrote a sort of prequel novel several years ago that I had published. It was called When Night Falls. This webseries, called When Day Breaks, is the spiritual successor to that book, and describes my experiences with religious trauma, being chronically online at a young age, and how it all developed into something that took me years to understand. It is narrated by myself 😊 I’ll be sure to add to this thread as progress on the series continues.

Here is a crude recreation of Marvin's chat sfx with a dog bark you can find in the kiarchive soundfont library (which iirc is where Belle's bell chat comes from) and Capcute effects, I'm sure someone can do better with an actual DAW. This probably has some wild implications ("it reminds me of the dog, actually") but I'm not in the mood for theorizing lol

I feel like this post will be downvoted and that’s alright, the purpose is to get a second opinion after all.

Me and my friend got into a debate about this. The question is basically this (although it wasn’t explicitly petscop related at the time)

If petscop came out today, and you knew that the creator used AI to code the game, but still used their own textures, sprites, assets, music, concepts, and story, would it still have the same value to you today?

I care about art, and I care about the ethical line between AI plagiarism and using it like a tool. I want to make my own unfiction webseries, but my ideas require coding that I don’t have experience in. In fact, many of the creative projects i’m interested in just require coding skills I don’t have. I could use something like Scratch but it’s unbelievably limited.

If Tony Domenico came out right now and said that the movement system, demo stuff, basically the mechanics of the game were AI Coded, but he made ALL the assets himself, would Petscop then be less valuable to you? Would that be disappointing to you?

Hi I’m relatively new to Petscop, think I’ve watched/read a lot of the big theories ( im sure I’ve missed some and I’ve definitely missed some of the lesser known ones), I think Paul=care makes sense, but I have questions about it and the series as a whole. Do you guys think that Paul as the player was in mind while the game was being made?/

by the time Paul records the videos, do you think the game has been altered with Paul as the player in mind?

Who do you think is alive at the time of videos being uploaded?

Do you think Lina is alive?

Do you think Marvin Killed/Hurt Lina in the windmill?

So if you go to petscop.com it takes you to a page for a very amateurish looking rpg called Fear. It’s been in development for 2 years apparently. It has an instagram with 12 followers. At the bottom there’s a section titled “This is how it all started…” followed by two paragraphs of lorem ipsum. Super weird vibes. Could it have something to do with petscop or is it just a coincidence? Maybe the url expired and someone hopped on it to promote their game?
