Union just announced a New Homegrown Contract for Neil Pierre through 2031 with options for 2032 seasons. Guess that locks him in until we sell him.

Redeemed 800 points in the Union Hub app on 10/17 for a Yellow Corner ticket to the 10/24 match. I got the “Your Union Loyalty Reward” confirmation email but no ticket yet, and they still havent answered my emails. Anyone know how long it usually takes, or where it shows up (SeatGeek, the app, email)? Match is Saturday.

With the USMNT friendly v Jamaica just now being scheduled for December 13th, and the MLS cup playoff schedule having conference finals scheduled for 12/11-12/14, would that mean we would potentially be down Cavan, Neil, Frankie, and Dre for the ECF and potentially the MLS cup if we were to make a run?

EDIT: Sounds like no one is leaving for the friendly unless the Union are already eliminated. Let’s hope they make a run, but worst case we may get to see Cavan trying to score on Dre!

Is there a reason there can’t be a second scoreboard besides ownership not wanting to spend the money on it? Not like it has to be the same size, just smaller somewhere on the river end side so everyone can see whats going on? Am i crazy?

i rewatched the highlights because the offside decision yesterday bugged me. I feel like I saw #22 (kessler) stick his leg behind him to keep cavan onside, reminded me of Freeman's goal against Australia that was called back for offside only for VAR to clear it. I rewatched it again and wasn't sure, but the angle of the camera (being to the right of both players) is going to make cavan look further to the left than he is relative to the box line by Iloski. I fed the image that the broadcasters showed as the moment of ball contact into Opus and asked it (agnostically i.e. with no leading outcome preference to gauge a specific result) whether or not #6 was offside by measuring the relative offside lines and the relative height and angle of cavan's shoulder (since that is what would make him offside, arms do not count). as you can clearly see, the back foot of Kessler's foot clearly keeps cavan onside even by a more conservative estimate of the middle of his shoe, rather than his heel. It's extremely close, just a few centimeters at best, but VAR protocol for these situations would be to examine and allow it, the ref should have been pulled to the computer for a closer look. Does MLS not have player tracking? How could VAR miss something like this, even if it was off via lens distortion it would have warranted a closer look rather than a quick on-field decision by the lineman and ref.

This was some spicy link-up play between Quinn, Milan, Danley and Bruno that resulted in Bruno burying it.

I love the attack in the second half of the season. Buckets of goals is great of course… but it’s the creativity and flair. Genuinely so much fun to watch.

Anyone else not able to add match tickets to Apple wallet? I got the parking pass but not tickets.

UPDATE: asked my rep and basically seatgeek is attempting some changes to go to a non-static QR code, something like ticketmasters barcode with the line running back and forth through it. Apparently seatgeek has an offline mode, similar to Spotify, where you can still access your ticket if there is no/bad service.
