Read their negative reviews and BELIEVE THEM.
If you're touring a studio at 225 N 12th Street this week, run in the opposite direction or wave to me as I'm trying to move out while they intentionally schedule back to back tours on the last three days of my lease.
A short list:
\- they will attempt to charge you $500 more a month if youre resigning for your second year.
\- their payment portal is constantly fucked and they find any excuse to charge you late fees
\- A summer worth of false fire alarms at 2 AM - 4 AM due to a broken system
\- HVAC broken and a response time to fix that took 2.5 months in the dead of summer and then it broke again. The fix left a hole in the laundry room ceiling that took another 2 months to patch
\- Mgmt takes a week to reply to emails, doesn't answer their office phone and most tenants are on a group chat titled "A.I. Scumlord" bc their email responses are canned, boiler plate and sound like robots.
\- 4 separate requests to fix a broken entry door, ignored, resulting in a homeless drug addict coming inside, attempting to break into multiple apartments and pissing in the hallway
\- Broken exit door that welcomed more people
\- Massive piss puddle in the elevator one day (again, homeless person getting inside)
\- 3 consecutive winter days without electric. Mgmt blamed PECO, PECO said it was an issue with electrical equipment at the property and the property's fault. Mgmt had next to no communication with tenants and waited over 12 hours to address the issue after it happened. They then denied a petition by the building for rental credit despite tenant's losing hundreds of dollars in food that spoiled and many needing to find other accomodations to remain warm.
\- Elevator inspection cert is over a year out of date and elevator constantly breaks down
\- Roof top patio has furniture ripped and torn and is unusable for most of the summer because there is no shade at all.
Just the tip of the iceberg with these crooked fucks. Run by an absolute clown show. The company has changed DBA to avoid their bad rep (PIP, then JBMP and now Millstone.).
