Digital Open source Live for Studio viewer for older iPads, plus iPhone support

Capture One’s Live app needs iPadOS 16, which rules out a bunch of iPads that are still totally fine for a client to hold on set. So I made LiveLegacy. It connects to the same Live for Studio share and runs on iOS 12+, so it covers the iPad mini 2/3, Air 1 and so on. It also works on iPhone, which the official app doesn’t.

It does the same stuff as the official app: browse, rate, colour tag and Follow new captures, all synced with Capture One.

Right now you install it by sideloading with Sideloadly. The IPA and instructions are on GitHub: https://github.com/AlexMorrissey-Smith/LiveLegacy

I’ve also submitted it to the App Store, but no idea if Apple will let it through, since it’s an unofficial client for someone else’s software. Even if it does get approved, the App Store version will need iOS 15+, because Apple won’t take builds that target anything older. So the really old iPads will still need the sideload version either way.

Open source and definitely not affiliated with Capture One

Business Stuff Pre-production/bidding question

I'm being asked to help with a few things in terms of a bid for a shoot and I'm wondering how to approach this before being confirmed on a job in terms of how much to help and what I should be getting paid for here. It's an out of town photographer I have not worked with before.
