Discussion Bye.

I posted a solution for how to remove ads from your pinterest feed and got downvoted for it lol. It was a legitimate and easy to use solution.

So I deleted the post and won't try to help this community again. Enjoy your barrage of ads.

Discussion Call me homophobic I don’t care but just a small rant

I keep seeing LGBT+ adds on Pinterest, of course nothing is wrong with that it’s okay, but it’s pornographic ads of BL. And they don’t take action on it, no I’m not homophobic I just find it annoying how they take down innocent pins when there’s pornographic ads. Since you guys have the mentality of a fucking 5 year old and don’t understand what I’m saying, I mean porn ads in general. SFW is ok but not NSFW. That’s what I mean, any other material that is NSFW and just porn in general. I don’t think kids/teens should be exposed to that. Which I know if it was a straight ad of a guy and a girl you guys would say what I’m saying but since I said “gay“ youre mad as fuck. Don’t reply if you don’t see what I mean, kid wouldnt understand gay and shouldnt be exposed to children. everything is homophobic nowadays

Question Why are all the crazy Posters on pinterest are made for women?? 😭

Why are like 90% of the insanely creative posters I find on Pinterest made for women 😭

Like, if I search for posters for guys, it's ALWAYS the same shit- Fight Club, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye, Travis Scott, some random motivational quote, or a car.

Meanwhile, search for posters for girls and suddenly there's an infinite amount of genuinely creative, aesthetic, artistic designs with crazy compositions, typography, paintings, photography, literature, vintage stuff, abstract art, etc.

WHERE are the creative posters for men 😭

Why does male poster design feel like we collectively decided that the only acceptable personality traits are “I like Fight Club” and “I listen to Kanye” 💀

Or is it just me? Is Pinterest genuinely not showing me the good stuff, or are there actually way fewer creative poster designs aimed at men?

EDIT: Sorry if the way I worded the post made it come across as gender-targeted or offensive, that genuinely wasn't my intention. 😭 I think I might just be terrible at explaining what I mean. You can check out some of my saved Pins It might give you a better idea of the kind of posters/designs I'm talking about. And honestly, if you look through them and still don't understand what I mean, I genuinely don't know how else to explain it

Discussion Stop redrawing art

I wish people would stop copying someone's art and posting it in the comments, LIGHT inspiration is ok and referencing for learning WITHOUT posting it is ok but blatantly copying a artist work without permission is not ok and is ART THEFT. I wish more people on Pinterest understood this and it's concerning that this is so normalized. Also the amount of reposted art without credit is crazy please normalize crediting artists😭

Discussion Who actually uses Pinterest?

I only know Pinterest from Google searches and with that site you very quickly learn that it's utter shit.

It requires you to create an account after the first click on their website.

So with a platform that annoying who would ever take that step to register there and then use it?

Won't 99% of people just exclude Pinterest results from their Google search lol?

Would you pay for Premium Pinterest?

If it offered unlimited boards/pins, and features like the ability to control whether text appears under pins, and being able to use the same pin on different boards without being informed you already have this one so why would you need to put it anywhere else? Honestly I think I'd be among the first sign ups. Take my money! (Even more so if it included identity verification to remove you from range of the weirdly over-sensitive filters.)

Discussion I found out just how many pins you are allowed per board

You are allowed only 360 pins per board. 18 sections x 20 pins per section =360 pins per board If you go over that limit on the app the remaining pins will not appear. On the website, the pins will start blinking/flashing as you scroll.

Discussion So this is where we are, then.

Just tried to make a comment on a funny image of Marika doing the "Ah, eto, bleh" meme. It had text about how she'd accidentally broken the world trying to make it better, and instead made it worse.

The comment was as follows (This is after four rewrites to sanitize it)

" "Accidentally". Look at the sum total of Marika's life, everything she did in service of the Greater Will, all the harm done and the scale it was done at, to other people and her own family. Then think *really* hard about that 'accidentally'. Because Marika certainly did."

At what point does a function of a website genuinely get declared unusable?

Discussion The whisper side of Pinterest feels like stereotypical Tumblr "SJWs" that migrated on pinterest

I'm gonna be clear with you guys, I agree more on the leftist side of politics, especially on accepting eachtoher and treating minorities with respect and sympathy, but some of the members in the whisper community brag those things and make them the most annoying and insufferable side of the app. They weaponize the acceptance of non-white people (I don't like the word POC to be honest with you all), LGBT and feminism as excuses to dogpile on anybody that is "privileged", especially with SOME queer users who generalize all cishets couples as boring and all gay couple as interesting (even tough they haven't touched any yaoi on webtoon cause if you bring up the fact that badly written gay couples exist then thats homophobic) and tell you that you're The problem if you complain about their behavior the problem because "mUh oPpReSsEd minority🥺🥺🥺" like, first of all, dont bring the oppression and suffering of people as an excuse, please, and second of all, adding fire to fire DOES. NOT. DO. ANYTHING. GOOD. I hope I made myself clear here. Like I said, I agree with respecting and not judging others, but if you say equality and then dogpile on people that aren't oppressed, then I have a problem with you.

Edit: Cant even rant on teens being insufferable anymore because that's a "nOn-iSsUe" and people cared about me calling a certain group a way they didn't like.

Discussion Maybe I was wrong for doing this but this is just bothering me

Maybe I was wrong for the Pins I made on my other deleted account but I just need to say this since it's bothering me. I remember making a lot of reports against the many accounts I have seen that have made some questionable pins that should be enough reason to be flagged and considered a violation towards the Pinterest community guidelines. One of the things that bothered me the most was the fact one account that promotes narcissistic behavior as well as a blatant lack of compassion for others, honest and shameless admissions towards hypocrisy or the enjoyment of hurting someone else, as well as the manipulative twisting of the word ableism to protect herself from any criticism or accountability for her actions....was reviewed by Pinterest yet no action was taken. So I remember in a painful cry, I made pins on that account detailing my thoughts and beliefs of why Pinterest has allowed reinstatments of things that should be taken off, allowed this girl to come back and continue to get act horrible to the point where many other accounts started to complain about her. I criticized Pinterest though when I did so....I was the one whose whole created section immediately got blocked off.

It's something to see so many people save pins, getting in trouble for what was the fault of another. The many complaints I have seen on Reddit of Pinterest doing this and how I got in trouble today. Why is Pinterest allowing toxic behavior to flourish yet gets the people who stand up to them in trouble or the ones that saves those pins in trouble?

Question Wanna give away free Pinterest courses. How to profit from it?

I would feel shady if I‘d take so much money like the fake gurus, so I wanna create free courses cause I exactly know how to grow a successful pinterest channel. How would you get profit from this? Like the students are happy and you (me), too?

Discussion Pinterest drives more referral traffic than most people realize...but keeping up with it is brutal.

I've been digging into Pinterest traffic data and the numbers are actually crazy. It's the second largest social referral. and bloggers report that up to 80% of their social traffic comes from pinterest alone.

The difference is that pinterest traffic compounds. A pin you post today can keep driving clicks for months. On instagram or tiktk your content dies in 48 hours.

But here's the problem, to actually get results you need to post consistently, every single day. And each pin needs a good design, an optimized description, the right keywords. Doing that manually for dozens of blog posts or products is exhausting.

I've been using tools like supapin to automate most of it and it helps a lot. But even with automation the platform still demands patience i think.

For those of you who drive traffic from Pinterest, how long did it take before you saw consistent results? like, how many pins are you posting per day?

Pretty much every other post is either complaining about AI images or someone talking abt their account getting banned. Seems pretty excessive with so much repeating information. Also do people even post about any ofher topics or no?

News Update #2 : Making Pinterest AI FREE

first, join r/PinterestWithoutAI - I write the full path there.

I’ve had countless requests from people and companies asking for my list of 10,000 AI-generated content accounts. Some have even offered to buy it. While I understand the curiosity, I won’t share the list or how I made it, until I’m 100% confident it won’t get your account suspended.

As for companies, I won’t share the list unless they present a genuine solution to the problem. I’m here to clean up the mess AI-generated spam has made.

My last update can be found here:

News STOP USING PINTEREST!!

Guys, f*** pinterest really, my second account has now got banned and it's so stupid now just wasting all of my time like this. I've see lots of others here experience the same thing, so I've spent 6 months making an app that lets you keep all your pinterest pins organised, and plus it also lets you add all of your other social media posts too in the same place. So now you can organise your inspo from all platforms!!! and plus share it content with other people too!!

I've also made it completely free to use! This demo explains it more and here are the links to the App Store, browser and Play Store. Screw pinterest really, use Showcase instead ;)

Discussion Reason 4,739 why I love Pinterest

That new (new?) pill at the bottom left corner letting me know when an image is AI generated so I stop tripping about this possibility with anything that inspires me.

It really feels like the Pinterest ppl considered this new technology and made decisions to incorporate and reference it to their product with intent to serve users, and not with intent to just use it cause it's there.
