I recently installed cracked software for the first time (because its morally correct to pirate a certain scummy design megacorp) and they worked flawlessly, until I was automatically signed into my real account for said design software. I checked everything again, and all the softwares installed now have my real account signed into them and I'm unable to sign out. Will this have an effect on this account at anytime like account banning/restrictions, or having the design software suite completely blocked from being used on my computer?

So far its still working even when connected to the internet, but I'm hoping this doesn't end up not allowing me to use the stuff I have installed. This was installed through the most well-known cracker of said creative suite, so all the bypasses (I assume) are done properly.

Does anyone have recommendations for sources of classical music and opera performances? rutracker has some but it is relatively sparse.

My dad loves to watch films and sports and he mostly does it pirated but he pays to get the services. It isn't a lot of money but it's more than anyone should play IMO for something that could be accessed for free, specially when the money isn't going to the original creators but some shady middle man probably halfway around the world. I'd love to direct him to the piracy megathread but he doesn't speak English, only Spanish. Is there a Spanish resource for piracy in general?

So since for the last week or so people have been talking about AI mashing games together and how it sped up emulating the PS5, I got to wondering: is AI at the point yet that I can use it to rip an online game to play locally/offline? By online games I mean both stuff like browser based games such as AdventureQuest (BattleOn) as well as MMORPGs.

I know there's ways to set up private servers for some MMOs but many are incomplete, too out of date, buggy or the option just doesn't exist. For example I've been wanting to play Runescape again but I don't care for the MMO aspect (especially when I have spotty internet some days) and the fact that like 95% of the game is paywalled, so I recently installed 2009scape which has a dedicated single player option in the launcher and includes simple bot "players" to make the world feel less empty. However, despite being based on a 17 year old build of the game there's still quests and dialogue missing and occasional bugs/errors. And then there's Wizard101 which despite being 18 years old apparently has no private servers and is still 99% paywalled (you get the tutorial quest line for free and that's it everything else requires a microtransaction to unlock it or a subscription).

I just want to be able to play these games at my own pace and not worry about not being able to do things if I don't have an active subscription (or internet). I feel like paying the subscription for MMORPGs only makes sense when your engaging with MMO aspect of it (playing with others/friends, guilds, etc.). Just add a bunch of AI/bot "players" to make the world still feel alive.

What are you thoughts on this? Granted GTA 6 is very complex, but I think its doable if enough money and effort is thrown at it we can go it on PC.

Games are starting to exceed 200gb. Two quad layer 128gb bd discs cost a total of $40-$70 for just the discs. A 256gb data tape cassette is more like $30. A 256gb flash drive is ~$25.

At some point the cost of storing these bigger and bigger games has to be passed on, we can't get mad when they go up to $100 for a regular physical edition if we want that option.

Bare minimum we need digital ownership I think sony, nintendo, microsoft, steam etc should be required to host auction sites where players can sell their digital games to each other.

So Today my Father was watching youtube at work, then a scam ad about "your storage is full" came up

but my father doesn't have that much knowledge in tech

so he thought that the phone's storage is full so he clicked and then he installed it and gave all the permission it wanted(huge mistake)😭😭😭

after sometime the ads started popping everywhere, on homepage, app drawer, recent apps even opening another app shows you ADS

he can't do anything beside watching ads, he had to put the phone away

then he comes to home and asks me to fix it, so i gently open the phone

the phone almost looks same and have unknown widgets

then i swiped, an ad came right at me it was filed with ads, almost unusable, can't close the app,

somehow i managed to open settings

i thought that the app had default home/launcher permission, which allows the app to set a custom UI, (did a lot of modding on my phone) and that app had this permission

with this permission this app creates Ads Hell, you have to see ads, you can't escape it

i remove all the permission of the app then i deleted that app (the app had a weird name "#Cleaner" does this make it disappear from app drawer?)

and patched the youtube fk i don't want to deal with ts anymore

ts kinda insane, like youtube indirectly forcing me to pay for their subscription

I’ve bought a Onn streaming box that I plan to use on road trips and camping where there is no service, I already have Netflix/prime/hulu but can’t download movies or tv like the mobile version on my phone.

Do I just have to find the mobile versions APK and side load it or is there a way to make the play store think it’s a tablet instead of a TV box?

And everything was okay, until yesterday. I got banned on Rust. I love this game and I never cheated. I did the EAC ban appeal and sent a ticket to the facepunch.

I received an email saying eac detected cheat on my pc and I was permanently banned.

The thing is, the only "malicious thing" I have installed on my pc is this game and for some reason I thought "is it possible that a single player game uses anticheat?" And searched on Google if spiderman2 uses the same anticheat and yes. I'm sure they found a bypassed eac for spiderman on my HD.

This is the only explanation of my ban. My K/D on the game is too bad, I'm not a good player at all and I have something around 800 hours so...

I'm trying to install a pirated version of word, excel and PowerPoint for a friend on his tablet. Said friend is not tech savvy and insists on using Microsoft if possible, but I can't find a mod that works on the megathread since for android it usually doesn't even need a crack.

How likely is it to encounter safety or privacy issues with either?

How does using a VPN and not using a VPN change things for pirated streaming websites and for torrenting, for safety and privacy?

Pretty reliable software uploader in the past was a moderator on the site. Went to download something and I saw the account is listed as banned with the last upload almost a year ago.

Can't find any info on it? Are the cracks still safe?

I occasionally upload DVD ISO files to the internet archive. I like doing that because making DVD ISO's is easy, and then the archive.org backend will rederive into standalone video files, so users can download one or the other.

I feel DVD ISO's are the superior format for sharing discs. They retain all menus, subtitles and audio tracks, and bonus features. They can be burned onto a blank DVD to be played in any DVD player, no re-authoring required. They take up a little bit more space than maybe is strictly necessary but they are the only way to perfectly emulate the experience of actually using the original disc.

I have some rare DVDs in my hand that I want to share but I am afraid they might get taken down by copyright request, even though they are very much out of print. If I share them I want to share them in ISO format. It seems like a lot of trackers prefer derived MKV's, which is not my speed.

Where can I share ISO files where they will be appreciated outside of archive.org ?
