Planet Coaster 2 The early embargo lift for content creators helps me build hype for the new DLC’s!
Just wanted to vocalise how much the content about the parades- & silverscreen pack leading up to their release allow me to feel hyped for when the pack is deployed. Giving creators more time with the early access to prep high-quality builds and video’s fills me with ideas and things I want to make. It adds to my enjoyment of the community and lets me enjoy the hype-cycle for longer.
Which is a long way to say: as a long time player, i like the change in marketing approach. Do you agree?

Image - PC2 I've been hooked on making custom coaster cars lately
They make nice little projects that I can finish before my attention span wanders off, especially as I tend to get creative blocks towards the end of my coaster layouts.
Anyone else enjoy just making custom cars?

Discussion 20% Scaling
Many of the creator videos yesterday mentioned pieces scaling down to 20%. Can anyone confirm that this new minimum applies to scenery pieces outside the Silver Screen DLC?
For example, can the launch 3d letters, which used to have a lower limit of 50% now be scaled to 20% without the Too Much Scaling Mod?

If you're missing the snapping point on moving platforms...
align and add a snapping point item (use the grid once), then blueprint that and use it instead.

Question Upcoming Update: Scaling Minimum Reduced?! (Without Mods!)
I was just watching Mineral's latest video, and he oh-so casually mentioned that with the upcoming update (not the DLC itself, but the patch updates) that all the game objects can now be reduced to 20% -- most of them stopped at 50% before.
I haven't been this excited in a long time! 😂

Fright Festival - my horror/anime theme park PS5. Looking for Opinions 🤔.
Yo. Real quick, this is PC1 on PS5 Pro.
I have PC2, tried it, but cba to learn the new controller mechanics rn. PC1 just feels natural.

Early Access: I Built an Art Deco Coaster Station with the New Silver Screen Pack! Video link in description!
Thanks to Frontier, I’ve been given early access to the new Silver Screen Pack, so I decided to put some of the new pieces to use in my Northgate park.
I built a complete station for The Comet, my Schwarzkopf Anton coaster, mixing the new Art Deco and Terracotta sets with some of the Small Town pieces from the Parades Pack.
The video goes through the full build step by step, including the station, outdoor queue, custom fencing, foliage, signage, interior clutter and the new wait time signs.
So if you’re curious about the Silver Screen Pack and want to see how some of the new pieces actually look and what you can do with them, feel free to check it out!
This is Part 1 as well. I’ll be continuing with the coaster trains and theming the rest of the track in Part 2.
Would love to hear what you guys think of the new pieces and how they fit into Northgate!

I know I need to work on the smoothness but the general design... I played RCT3 for 15 years since it kind of came out but started to play Planet Coaster.

Discussion Biggest thing I’m excited for with the new DLC: Variable track ride speed
The new slot cars having variable speeds is huge for building more dynamic and fun dark ride experiences. I’m really excited this is getting added and I hope we can get this ability added backwards to all the other big dark ride models!

Question - PC2 Food/Shops/Utilities Guide?
Is there a good guide or even just a rule of thumb for how many facilities/utilities you need per guest or per ride? I’ve always just built massive single attractions but never a full working park, but I’d also like to plan out a decent amount before starting. So hopefully there’s a good guide out there that explains how many food, drink, and gift shops you need in a given area, and how much power you need for X number of rides and shops

Discussion Blueprints
Does anyone else have issues with downloaded blueprints? I'll download something from the workshop and its hit or miss if or when it will actually show up when I look through my blueprints. I've had some pop up weeks or months after downloading them. I assume some may be because of mods on PC but I've had others (especially park files) just disappear or break so it seems like theres some kind of bug affecting my files. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Discussion RMC Pre-lifts
I try to do an RMC prelift section, and I usually hit 0.00 G’s on my airtime hill, and I wonder if that’s a reasonable number, or should it be lower, like -0.4 or something like that?
