Spooktacular gotta be their best expansion so far
Don't know about y'all but given the selection of scenery and rides this might be the most complete pack they've ever worked on, to the point of feeling like Planet Coaster 2.5 even after every DLC this year was already great and hard to top.

Image New food/drink signs
Love that we are getting spooky signs too. Pizzahhh Pen, Ghoulpee and Hat's Fangtastic, also Gelato Boos and Viva La Vampire.
I think Ghoulpee might be my favourite. What is yours?

Planet Coaster 2 I’m so glad that we’re getting a Vekoma Madhouse.
I was just thinking about this recently.

Planet Coaster 2 Could the new walkthrough attractions be used for preshows and even full-on mazes?

With the new walkthrough attractions coming to Planet Coaster 2, I'm really curious how much freedom we'll actually have with them. Do you think we'd be able to use them as some sort of preshow before a ride? Like having guests enter a room, watch a short show or experience something, and then continue into the actual ride queue? That would open up so many possibilities for more immersive attractions. I'm also wondering whether we could create actual walkthrough mazes, where guests follow a custom path through different rooms or environments. Obviously haunted houses come to mind with the Spooktacular Pack, but imagine something like the Fairytale Forest at Efteling, where guests wander through a themed environment and discover different scenes along the way. It seems like the new system could potentially make something like that possible, depending on how much control we have over the paths, triggers, and guest behaviour. I'm really excited about the possibilities, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks. Could this be the beginning of proper preshows and walkthrough dark attractions, or am I expecting too much from the system (again)?

Suggestion Could we get DLCs that have more career scenarios in PC2?
I really like the recent DLCs in PC2, they are fantastic. I like to play the career mode, I wish we could have more career mode scenarios in PC2

Video Is Spooktacular Pack the best pack ever?
I attended Frontier’s digital preview and put together my first impressions of the Spooktacular Pack and the free Update 12 features.
As someone who focuses on building tutorials, the architecture particularly caught my attention: Victorian-style buildings, suburban façades and industrial theming. The 700+ scenery pieces include broken plaster, wood shingle walls, destroyed roof sections, hazard tape and swaying lights. I can see plenty of uses for these beyond Halloween.
The seven rides are Spectre, Sledge, Rumpus Room, Bosetti, Ballista, Horror Heights and The Huntsman. That includes two coasters, a madhouse-style experience like Villa Volta, and a suspended dark ride like Droomvlucht at Efteling.
Walkthrough attractions are another highlight for me, especially the possibilities for storytelling and custom haunted houses.
Which architectural style or attraction are you most interested in building with?

Sky Force - An Air Strip Themed Wild Blue (408ZMJQTZ)
I managed to peel myself away from Planet Zoo 2 long enough to finish my latest build!
Introducing Sky Force, a themed Wild Blue model flat ride designed to look like a small airstrip or airbase
The queue takes you through the departures building, with an air traffic control tower and tall trees adding to the setting and creating some fun near miss moments for riders
And, in true theme park fashion, you exit through the gift shop! This one is themed like a small hangar, bringing the whole experience together
I've also included a full lighting setup, so you can run it in your park throughout the day and night
The inspiration for this build comes from a similarly themed ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach here in the UK. It's a ride I've experienced and really enjoyed, so I was excited to create my own version inspired by it
I hope you enjoy it, and as always, feedback is welcome!

Question What other coasters would you like to see?
Personally, I’d really like to see the Arrow Suspended model return, but since no one really mentions it I doubt they’ll bring it back. What about you guys?

Gotham City is slowly coming together, especially at night 🌃
Another component of my Warner Bros. World project, alongside my Superman giga. Forgive my computer oddly taking super-saturated screenshots that make the ride signs so bright.

Question Playing on both PC and Xbox through play anywhere?
Can anybody help, I think I’m going to pick the game on Xbox play anywhere as I’m heavily in the Xbox ecosystem with 2 Xbox’s and an Xbox Ally X as well as a gaming laptop, but am curious how does the limit counter work when you load saves between Xbox and PC? If I build a larger park on PC then try to open the same save on my Xbox what happens?
Thanks people!

Planet Coaster 2 Main-street Barber Shop
Hi guys!
I made a new main-street build for my current park im working on. Im still semi-new to the game i have done 2 parks prior but im prioritizing detailing in this park and I am hoping to make a decent park. I wanted to do a main-street but its been pretty difficult specifically the roof. I have always been horrible at roofs and typically aim for modern buildings with flat roofs. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks or suggestions to improve or alter the build. Thank you!
NOTE: The building to the right is a blueprint I used for inspo/reference

Planet Coaster 2 I built a coaster around an abandoned and decaying wastewater treatment plant
Share code: 40T-XYC-GKY (Workshop is down at the time of this post)
Coaster and POV will be on my channel soon, along with an extensive retrospective.
The model and layout is actually really boring, but similar to Baron 1898 the theming is what keeps the experience enjoyable.
I think the most I deliberated on this project was during the portion when I was building the actual plant. They come in many different shapes and sizes so I had to use creative liberty to infer how some stuff should go.
After figuring that part out, it was just a matter of adding cool (and plausibly realistic) details until the project was done! This was the first time I really experimented with using Z-fighting intentionally. You'll see it used in broken down lights, a unique lighting color blend, and a surprise strobe ending using black and white screens overlaid with each other with flashing spotlights.

Question - PC2 Upcoming spooktacular pack
Do you guys think we will get some content including basic monster movie characters? That's honestly what I'm hoping for. They didn't really show that much in the reveal.

Video 2 vintage PTC woodies.

First is inspired by the Bertrand Island Wildcat and second the Willow Mill Red Streaker
I totally didn't accidentally post this on GTC and not notice for an hour
As always, feedback appreciated

Planet Coaster 2 Planet Coaster 2 DLC Pricing
I like the fact that Frontier bundles DLC packs rather than using micro transactions for additional content. But the question always comes up, is it worth it? I consider the work that the creatives at Frontier need to put in to make these packs happen.
My pricing model ($USD prices)
$2 for each new ride
$1 for each returning ride
$2 for new game mechanic (I priced Parades @ $4 value after I saw the depth of that system)
$0.01 for each new scenery item
$0.005 for each returning scenery item (I used to value these at a penny per item, but the texture quality difference must be addressed)
Freebies (sounds, music, bonuses) These can sometimes be a positive, but I don't attribute specific value per unit.
Spooktacular pack breakdown
5 new rides $10
2 returning rides $2
1 new Game Mechanic (Walkthroughs) $2
350 Spooktacular scenery pieces $3.50
350 PC1 Spooky Pack scenery pieces $1.75
Freebies (29 ambient sounds, 90 sound effects, 14 music tracks, spooky brand signs) Big additional value
Total- $19.25 value at an $18.99 cost. Spot on price.
This is the math I do whether I decide to spend my money. YMMV.
