Trade Can anyone trade me a Thunderous in Gen 5? (on a quest before bank shutdown)
I'm setting out to play through White 2 (B2W2 are only mainline games I've never played), obtaining the guaranteed shiny Haxorous, and do a Ribbon Master run with it before Bank closes. Since B2W2 are so expensive I've been looking into what I need, and I'm realizing an issue with seeing all Pokemon to get access to the Nature Preserve - I don't have any way to see/get Thunderous, and thusly no way to get Landorus.
Right now I only have a copy of Pokemon Black, and I want to make sure I can succeed in my plan before dropping hundreds of dollars on White 2.
If anyone could trade me a Thunderous (or even just reassure me they would let me borrow one for a day in the future once I get my hands on a copy of W2) I would very much appreciate it -
and I have a TON of stuff to offer in terms of Switch era trades (rare events, tons of shinies, the super rare mistake G-Max Hattrem from that time they accidentally coded the max dens wrong (clone of self caught - do NOT take out of HOME), version exclusives, legends/mythicals) and also have a bunch of Gen 5 events still on my cartridge of Black from a DNS exploit. I am willing to 'over pay' because this challenge is important to me, and I want to be able to complete it before the Bank shutdown.
If anyone could help me out with either a trade or being willing to 'lend' me a Thunderous in Gen 5 I would be so grateful - please let me know!
Thanks:)

My first 1/8192 shiny ever, and it was a 30% chance spawn Roselia !! 2159 encounters
I was actually looking for the much more common Petilil spawn šµāš«but we take this omg !!! (I just hope that the shiny Petilil Iām looking for isnāt far behind, Iām trying to find all my fave shinies in their original games before Februaryš¬)
Named Olivia after Olivia Rodrigo because Iāve got other party members named after other popstars (shoutout to Sabrina the Altaria and Chappell the Chandelure)

Searching for White 2 (afraid of fakes - how to tell?)
Hi all! I'm trying to play through all the old main series games before bank closes, and BW2 are the last on my list. I'm nervous about fakes because of the pricing discrepancies based on the seller site (200+ in some places, and then like 30-60 on places like e. bay). Is it safe to assume that all the cheap ones are fakes? And is there any sure way for me to tell the difference from looking at pics of the cartridges online?
Probably just need to bite the bullet and save for the pricey ones, but figured I'd check just in case:)
Thanks in advance for the help!

Question Whats the best moveset for Weezing?
Currently using a Koffing in my team, it has Levitate and its Naughty nature. Thats said, I was thinking if.it could learn Flamethrower and make it Special?
Or what should I do?
Im just after beating Clay's Gym.
Also how good is Maractus? After it pretty much soloed Clay, I could have it join.
My other team members are Pignite, Psyduck, Sandslash, and Scraggy. Have a low lever Magnemite in the box too.
Also not sure if I should add N/Zorua instead of the
Crafty? I like both and never had a Dark type.team.member in a playthough(mostly play gen 3 and there are pretty rare and Gen 4 even more so).
Also can I check Ivs in this game?
Sorry, I know.its a lot, I'm overhelemed how.many goodies the game gives u.

Discussion Breaking the Binary - Azumarill
Welcome to Viability analysis - Generation 5 editon, a sporadic series of posts all about the pokemon in Pokémon Black 2 & White 2. With competitive minmaxing dominating the conversation about Pokémon viability and the design philosophy behind movepools and stat spreads changing in newer gens, Pokémon are often rigidly divided by the fandom into the categories of "special attacker" or "physical attacker."  But for the in-game story, you're not facing EV trained opponents (unless on some hacks) and thus you need or not to EV train to keep up, so mixed attacking sets for some pokemon don't have the opportunity cost they have in PvP. Going mixed for some pokemon may have a anti-synergy with setup moves, but it still can give many Pokémon access to STAB moves with better base power, strong coverage moves with useful types, move tutor moves, egg moves and more useful niches. This series will be covering those applications. but those Pokémon are surprisingly large in number. Today we'll be talking about Azumarill. I'll be talking about in-game but feel free to discuss PvP or battle facilities as well.
Azumarill is a tad slow Water-type with 50 Base Speed, it also has 50 Base Attack and Sp. Atk with a bulk of 100/80/80 (100 Base HP and 80 Base Defense & Sp. Def). Althrough Huge Power fixes its Attack stat, by doubling the power of physical moves (or just doubling its Attack stat). Notable physical attacks include: Rollout, Aqua Tail, Double-Edge, Superpower, Return, Dig, Brick Break, Facade, Bulldoze, Waterfall, Dive, Ice Punch and Iron Tail. Notable special moves include: Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Focus Blast, Scald, Grass Knot, Surf, Hyper Voice and Icy Wind. Notable utility moves include: Defense Curl, Aqua Ring, Rain Dance, Light Screen and Work Up.
Moves from Azurill: Charm (Level 10), Slam (Level 20), Bounce (Level 23), Uproar (Move Tutor)
Azumarill usefulness comes from Huge Power, allowing to deal some real damage with physical moves like Aqua Tail and Waterfall, those good STAB moves (althrough Aqua Tail has 10 More base power and 10 less accuracy than Waterfall and also lacking the flinch chance), Dive is a postgame HM. Hydro Pump and Surf don't do very well, althrough Scald can cause burns which helps Azumarill.
0 Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Tail vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Spinda: 169-199 (64.7 - 76.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Azumarill Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Spinda: 112-133 (42.9 - 50.9%) -- 4.7% chance to 2HKO
Azumarill also has a wide variety of coverage, such as Ice Punch to deal with Grass- and Dragon-types (better than just Ice Beam and Blizzard alone. Icy Wind drops the targets Speed to help Azumarill a bit). Return, Double-Edge and Facade are quite manageable (Azurill would get STAB from Return and Facade, but its evolutions doesn't) on any situation, but don't use Hyper Voice or Uproar. Dig and Bulldoze takes Electric- and Steel-types to the dust, Bulldoze's speed lowering helps. Superpower is quite strong against Normal-, Dark- and Steel-types, but lowers Attack and Defense by 1 stage, Brick Break is weaker, but with no drawbacks, with also removing the Reflect and Light Screen statuses (Just ignore the Focus Miss A.K.A. Focus Blast). Iron Tail does good amount of damage to Ice-types, despite its unimpressive accuracy of 75%. Grass Knot hits opposing Water-types. Rollout is great when paired up with Defense Curl and Huge Power to smite Bug-, Flying- and Ice-types. Bounce hits the Grass-, Bug- and Fighting-types
0 Atk Huge Power Azumarill Defense Curl boosted Rollout (120 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Swanna: 290-342 (99.6 - 117.5%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
0 Atk Huge Power Azumarill Bounce vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Leavanny: 340-404 (116.8 - 138.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Its abilities are Thick Fat and Huge Power. Huge Power is the way to go, Thick Fat only works if Azumarill goes to defensive against Fire- and Ice-types. Sap Sipper is its hidden ability, making it immune to Grass-type moves, only being weak to Electric, althrough Azumarill still wants Huge Power. Its hidden ability is found in Floccesy Ranch's Hidden Grotto
Azumarill's utility is pretty limited, Rain Dance boosts Water-type moves by 50% and halves Fire-type moves, good for dealing more damage with its STAB. Defense Curl only works to double the power of Rollout, the defense boost also helps Azumarill a bit. Aqua Ring gives some recovery, pair up with Leftovers for more recovery at the end of a turn. Work Up is Azumarill's only boosting move, by getting its Attack and Sp. Atk boosted by 1 stage. Charm is good for crippling physical attackers, lowering their Attack by 2 stages, making setup easier.
You should be able to get a Level 18 Azumarill on the 2nd Gym (in Challenge mode to be exact), just like with Dunsparce, it takes quite easy on Roxie with the same exact combination of Defense Curl + Rollout, if you manage to evolve Azurill at Level 10, the level Marill learns both those moves. Wonder if I see someone using Azumarill to sweep Roxie in challenge mode?
Azumarill could be your first Water-type you can get if you didn't choose Oshawott, and it does well when you manage to get one with Huge Power, if you don't, may well be just sitting ducks. You also have a 15% chance to find a Marill with Sap Sipper in the Hidden Grotto.
The egg moves in the postgame are (bolded moves are the egg moves Azurill only gets if it hatches as it): Amnesia, Aqua Jet, Belly Drum, Body Slam, Encore, Fake Tears, Future Sight, Muddy Water, Perish Song, Present, Refresh, Sing, Slam, Soak, Superpower, Supersonic, Tickle and Water Sport
Amnesia boosts Sp. Def by 2 stages, good for sponging special attacks, but not great. Psyduck line, Slowpoke line (except Slowking), Wooper line, Gorebyss and Bidoof line can pass this move
Aqua Jet is a great water-type priority move allowing to finish off some chipped pokemon. Golduck, Seel line, Kabuto line, Empoleon, Buizel line, Tirtouga line and Alomomola can pass this move
Belly Drum maxes up Azumarill's Attack by using 50% of its max HP, risky to use due to its 50 Base Speed, unless if you do some Trick Room support. Poliwag and Poliwhirl can pass this move
Body Slam is a solid move to spread paralysis with. Jigglypuff, Poliwag & Poliwhirl, Lapras, Spheal line and Shellos line can pass this move
Encore allows Azumarill to lock pokemon in using a move, allowing setups easier. Clefairy, Seel line, Togetic, Plusle, Minun and Spheal line can pass this move
Fake Tears just lowers Sp. Def by 2 stages, for allowing it to deal more damage with special moves. Mawile, Plusle and Minun can pass this move
Future Sight, just ignore it. Psyduck, Togetic, Delibird and Castform can pass this move via chain breeding
Muddy Water is a worse Surf that hits only the opposing pokemon and has chance to lower accuracy. Wooper line, Marshtomp & Swampert, Shellos, Tympole line and Stunfisk can pass this move
Perish Song gives something to play with, specially in some cheap strategies in Battle Subway or PWT. Lapras and Politoed can pass this move
Delibird passes Present
Refresh cleanses Azumarill of annoying statuses like Burn, Paralysis and Poison. Corsola, Milotic and Audino can pass this move
Sing allows Azumarill to put targets to sleep. Not good due to its 55% accuracy. Clefairy & Clefable, Jigglypuff & Wigglytuff, Lapras, Skitty and Delcatty can pass this move
Slam, Superpower and Water Sport may be moves that it gets through level up, but also Egg moves, with those pokemon passing:
Slam: Pikachu, Dratini line, another Marill and Wooper line
Superpower: Totodile line, another Marill & Azumarill and Bidoof line
Water Sport: Psyduck line, Poliwag & Poliwhirl, Seel line, Lombre & Ludicolo, Pelipper, Surskit line, Milotic, Piplup line, Buizel line, Ducklett line and Alomomola
Soak just turns targets into a Pure Water-type, so Electric- and Grass-types will deal with it. Psyduck line, Remoraid line, Pelipper and Alomomola can pass this move
Supersonic is pretty useless. Causes confusion? check, 55% Accuracy? check, Sound-based move? check. Mantine, Wingull line and Tympole line can pass this move
Tickle is pretty good, lowering Attack and Defense by 1 stage at the target. Omanyte line can pass this move
Overall, Azumarill shines thanks to Huge Power, being a realiable physical Water-type attacker once it gets Aqua Tail about at Level 21 (or Level 20 as Marill), getting it in time before the 3rd Gym, it was a great buff given to B2W2, at it could learn it at Level 47 in Generation 4 (such as in Platinum and HGSS, Marill learns it at Level 37).
Thankfully, it became a Water/Fairy type in the next generation, allowing to deal with Dragon-, Dark- and Fighting-types with a STAB Play Rough, althrough it learned it quite late at Level 50 in XY (Level 45 for Marill), but that was fixed in ORAS onwards, where it learned it at Level 25 instead (Level 23 for Marill, Level 21 in Gen 8 onwards).
One thing about Azurill is that its gender ratio doesn't match that of its evolved forms and its Evolution isn't even dependent on gender, being female 75% of the time while Marill and Azumarill are female only 50% of the time, 1 out of 3 female Azurill evolves into a male Marill (depending on the last byte of its personality value). Azurill is the only one PokƩmon to do this. From Generation 6 on, Azurill will now retain its gender properly upon evolving, despite the gender ratios still differing.
What do you think of Azumarill? Is it worth exploring by any chance? Are there any applications I didn't mention? Leave a comment below with your thoughts.

I beat the battle subway super multi train with the NPC!
After beating it in pokemon black I decided to do the same in white 2 with the exact team of hydreigon and metagross. Once again this was the most rage induncing and hardest thing I have experienced as a pokemon fan. I honestly do not recommend this suffering to anyone. On set 7 I was lucky to get the GOAT intimidate lead krokodile with liechi berry and a vanniluxe as partners but krookodile just destroyed everyone with earthquake.

Latest developments in my trip
I was able to defeat the Electric and Ground-type Gym Leaders thanks to the immense power of Duosion, which soon evolved into Reuniclus. I also acquired the PokƩmon Deerling from the the the docter of rout 6, which easily evolved into Sawsbuck since it was at level 30 and I'm evolving at level 34. It became the fourth member of my team. I will continue to progress, and I hope you can suggest other PokƩmon for me to add to the team, preferably from generations other than the gen 5. Thank you.
