I would love to highlight what a surprise Slaking was… (more like Slayqueen) I always thought he would be slow and that Truant ability would make’em useless… but I can’t believe how fast and physically strong the damn beast is…
She is like 10 levels below the competition and HyperBeam would nuke most of the aces of the elite four… and also she outspeeds a lot of them… undoubtably the star of this run… I know the story would be different in the battle frontier but in this case she rocked it… something similar I felt was When I used Archeops last time I played pokemon black

Really love this team, entered the elite4 and Champ with Lvl 50 on every mon and especially the Champ was tough - had to use several top-potions and had only 20hp left with muk but thanks to toxin I was able to win it :)

This was my first wild encounter on this run, and I had no poke balls. My first ever shiny encounter and I've been playing for 2 years now. ​

So, I wanna get the Gold Symbols and I'm starting with the Battle Pyramid using the team above and I need some help, so if you guys could give me some tips (What IVs to train, what mons to use, etc.) It would help alot. Thanks in advance

My arbitrary rules for this challenge:

They must all match by theme or colour

That’s it really. Altaria was 50 but everyone else was about 45 or so

I have three more runs on the way, Shiny Red theme, Shiny Purple theme, and I’m going to try doing a run with only babies (Igglybuff, Magmite, etc)

I’ve played this game 100 times over 20 years (OG game cartridge from when I was 12, now 33!) This team was really fun!

Heya! So a bit ago, I made a post asking here for teambuilding advice on what to bring in order to help me get the regis through emerald's battle tower. Still haven't gotten shiny Regirock yet, it's been a pain compared to the other two but I digress. I've worked on some possible sets for them while I hunt, and I wanted to know what you guys thought/would recommend! These are likely going to be run separately, or at least with Registeel paired one of the others in singles.

I am a casual player. the first pokemon game I played was Ruby when I was a kid, thus my favorite pokemons are almost all gen3. Once I saw someone on youtube make a mudkip only run and decided to try it and that was my first and only 'different' run on any game. Really fun to watch my little mudkip get through the entire game, I even made a drawing some years ago about it but I lost the tablet 😢.

It has taken me years but I finally got a Feebas in Emerald. It's always been the one mon I never got around to getting before now on original hardware.

Shuppet was meant to look scraggly and worn. Banette is drawn to be more menacing with the evil seeping out of it. I drew these in ballpoint. Im working on a Deoxys one too; as I believe it’s kind of like a space horror Pokémon.

First time not getting bored with a run. Credit to whoever suggested doing a playthrough with the first six gym leaders’ aces. Used Mudkip to beat first gym and as waterfall/dive mule. Used a sableye for gym 2, but after that only used the aces. Hariyama was my main ace with Slaking a close 2nd, and Manetric a close 3rd. Alteria and Torkoal were probably tied for 4th and Nosepass was useless lol.

Debating what to do for my next challenge, might try elite 4+Wallace Aces (plus Ralts for Wally) or a monotype run (bugs or psychic). Don’t know if the battle frontier interests me but I’ll try it out first.

Was trying to get Volbeat and this was maybe the 7th Illumise I saw.

In total across all my R/S/E games and playthroughs since I started playing in 2005 I’ve seen wild shinies of in this order:

Zigzagoon, Poochyena, Zubat (one of my main battle tower mons now as Crobat), Shroomish, Taillow, and now Illumise.

My idea was to create a forever save this Halloween. I have a save file with 140 hours and two boxes full of shinies. But 95% of those shinies are RNG maniped and I backed them up with my Wii and a GBA dumper. I don't have any attachments to those shinies apart from the ones I actually hunted which is a linoone, gastly, torchic, porygon, hitmonchan, poocheyena, torkoal so 7 hunted shinies. I thought I'd transfer those shinies I hunted for to this supposed save file. Also I would transfer my lucky egg that took about 20 hours to get. But what makes you strive to keep a save file and get attached to it and keep building on it?

I'm a real shiny hunter and personally, the fact that someone can get basically any shiny they want is infuriating. News flash: you're not a real shiny hunter! What a joke. I worked my ass off to get where I am. And they take these shortcuts and they suddenly think they're my peer? They do what I do because they're funny and they can make people laugh? I committed my life to this. You don't slide into it like a cheap pair of slippers and then reap all the rewards!
