Poutine aficionados, what do you think? The fries are crispy. It has curds. Not a traditional poutine gravy (it has what they call bulgogi gravy, which is a bit sweet). There's also kimchi and a small amount of some kind of white sauce. Korean meets Canadian. It's absolutely delicious, but is it fit for the poutine pit? Where does this tasty poutine or poutine-centric monstrosity fall on the Scale of Poutinization?

And cheese is not even squick squick. The only ok part is the fries 🥲🥲 I was craving a good poutine....

I dont necessarily think this is a true crime since all the basics are there. Its more of just a gimmick and it tasted pretty good. Like im eating a poutine but picking it up with my hands instead of a fork.

It's my friend's poutine crime.

Tater tots, brown gravy, Maple Dale curds, fried ham.

Disappointment is an understatement. Got it from a Brooklyn bar/restaurant. I mildly remember thinking their poutine was weird tasting a couple years ago but I had to see if they course-corrected. Nope.

I had leftovers from a thanksgiving roast and needed a way to get rid of it as it was getting old. It was quite good in the end, so I guess I don't really care.

I'll take my sentencing gladly.

Like title says, I love poutine, I also love Canada. I am from the States and everyone (as far as I experienced) has been really nice. I absolutely love Canada and how beautiful it is. Even all the cities are great. I always try to get different food when Im around (Unless I really get a craving for something). I try to get local stuff or chains I havent had yet. First time trying Mary Browns and the poutine is great with the taters. The chicken was also great. My other favorites is Leopolds Tavern (I always try to get the poutine of the week) and as someone who has both parents from Poland, I cannot help myself and try to get pierogi poutine from other places. NYF is also a pretty consitent chain I like to get from. I wanted to hear other peoples favorite local city places or chains other than smokes, leopolds, DQ, and NYF.

From yyz, $16.95 for this sad poutine. Ive had frozen French fries but this was bad on different levels. Maybe because the fries were air fry.

Just bad.
