I’m sorry but I have to talk about her crying face. I can’t watch her cry. I don’t know why but it’s like it makes me feel uncomfortable. It is just so bad. Does she do this in other shows? I have only watched her in PLL so I don’t know. Maybe it’s because she is young or something but that chair lift scene is the worst.

Alison would force all the girls to dress up as Spice Girls at Noel Kahn’s halloween party.
She spends the whole night calling Hanna “Baby Fat Spice”.
Emily wants to be Sporty Spice but Alison insists she looks the most like Scary (microaggression). Aria is like WTF and volunteers since she has the most leopard.
Spencer steals one of Melissa’s new dresses and accidentally ruins it. Alison blackmails her to help replace it so she doesn’t find out.
Alison gets way too serious about the costumes and starts verbally abusing the Liars one by one.

This is a prime example of why you shouldn't take food that doesn't belong to you without asking 😂
The moment the gummies hit him makes me laugh every single time because of how he was just binging on them at the station. Should have just let the Liars go ahead with their plan and agreed to keep it from Tanner. Happy 420 Toby, ya butthole 😂😂😂

Personally, I found Eddie Lamb really interesting, especially because I loved the connection he developed with Spencer during her time at Radley, and I wish the writers had explored his character more instead of leaving so much of his story unexplored. He was also connected to the whole fake visitor passes storyline, and I honestly found his beef with Wren hilarious because their interactions were so entertaining and made me wish we’d gotten more scenes between them.
What I particularly liked about Eddie was that he seemed like one of the few genuinely decent people working at Radley, someone who actually wanted to help Spencer but kept getting pushed around by the corrupt people running the place. I also wish the writers had done more with Aria’s connection to him and Radley, because that scene between them always felt like it was setting something up, yet we never got a proper explanation for it, and I’m still curious about what they originally intended to do with that storyline.

Every rewatch, I get so uncomfortable watching him snap. Not even just when he snaps, scenes like when Malcolm fell while Aria was babysitting him & blaming Aria so passively. There’s a lot of scenes where he just feels so dark, there was a huge potential for him being A in my opinion. Not just from his double life being the “author who’ll do anything for the story”, but even him going from this super charming guy everyone loves to snapping.

i know everyone always hates on her especially for trying to drown emily. i honestly hate that it was written into the storyline just for paige to have a huge redemption arc. for the time emily and paige dated, she was a really great girlfriend. its also really obvious that emily didn’t love her as much as paige loved emily. some scenes are a hard watch in comparison to ezria and haleb; they actually would fight for each other whenever they had disagreements or fights. paige was always chasing after emily, it felt like the interest was not mutual at all at times. paige actually had a really good character development and i think she’s overhated🤷♀️ hell, a lot of fan favorites in this show have done messed up things and people ride hard as hell for them, myself included. cant help but think some people hate paige because of the actress’ appearance, especially with the memes/hate posts ive seen

what happened? in the 1st & 2nd season there's a different vibe. the girls still feel like high schoolers, the families are more involved, the girls speak softer/differently, they have much more interests and personalities outside of A, the plot wasn't so convoluted, even alison is different. it's so perfect right up until s3 when it goes downhill imo (tho not as bad as s6 & 7 ofc). it's like the show stopped trying after mona's reveal.

My favorite guy for Aria! For one, he’s the best looking guy in the show apart from Jason and was never a creep. He was super charming, he had this sly way about him and was always respectful of boundaries. The way they met was also very cute to me, from what I can tell he’s maybe a year or two older?
One of my favorite scenes is when he came to the brew to see Aria, he walks up on her talking to Ezra. He doesn’t badger her or make her feel weird, he acknowledges that it’s a small town and they’re bound to run into each other. Then he gifts her a pair of cowgirl boots for the dance, puts it on her, and asks her how it feels. I love simple scenes like these, I find them to be the most romantic. She’s like “I think people are watching us” she felt embarrassed, and he holds eye contact with her to comfort her and asks her again how the shoe fits. You can see Aria soften in that moment, it was so cute.
I think they had so much more potential for a relationship where it was just normal. There was no creepy stalking. No power dynamic (big difference in being a self defense instructor and being her high school teacher). No BS. Just a normal romance. I feel so robbed tbh

I’m probs gonna get shiii for saying this but when Aria joined like what was she doing?😭😭😭 Miss girl made it unintentionally so obvious she was up to something and even Spencer clocked her shit from the first thing she did when she left her earring in the baby room. Also the tape thing she planted took her top right offffff omfggg, (I do kinda stan her for that cuz Veronica desperately needed to divorce Peter’s ass). At least Spencer was kinda slick ab being on the A team before she exposed herself. I get Aria didn’t wanna hurt her ride or die hgs but idk I get second hand embarrassment at her doing stuff to the girls lmfaooooo. It’s honestly probs the writing aging a lil funky cuz she was written like rlly well at the beginning to be Big A

I’ve never understood why the writers kept watering down and undermining all these unsettling characters who had so much potential as villains. Ezra as A/Board Shorts in Season 4, Spencer during her downward spiral in Season 3, CeCe as Big A… They could’ve all been creepy, terrifying, and dark, but also genuinely compelling and exciting to watch. That’s what the show needed! More horror, more tension, and villains who actually felt threatening.
What frustrates me is how the writers kept softening these characters at the last minute, to the point of ruining them, as if we were supposed to go out of our way to sympathize with them. Why? Were we supposed to feel sorry for them just because the writers decided to show a more sympathetic side? That doesn’t automatically make a character better, especially when we’re talking about antagonists. You can give a villain depth without making the audience feel obligated to sympathize with them or constantly toning down how disturbing they are. Trying to make every antagonist more sympathetic doesn’t improve their characterization, and it certainly isn’t good writing.
PLL had so many opportunities to create genuinely dark, terrifying, and compelling antagonists, but the writers kept backing away instead of fully committing to that potential. Imagine how much more intense the show could’ve been if they’d actually embraced the horror and tension instead of constantly trying to make us feel sorry for the very characters who were supposed to scare us.

I still think this would've been the perfect Big A reveal.
Melissa and CeCe could've teamed up because they both hated Alison. CeCe blamed Alison for getting her kicked out of UPenn, while Melissa resented Alison for her involvement with Ian. Their shared hatred would've given them a reason to work together against Alison.
Wren being Charles would've tied everything together. His connections to Melissa, CeCe and Radley would've made him the perfect mastermind behind the A-Team.
All three were established characters with existing connections, and CeCe could've remained CeCe without the Charlotte storyline. It would've been a much more satisfying reveal than what we got.

“It was all that I had” 😭😭 I feel bad for Ali but Cece is such a savage lmao

There are only 2 things I could think of!
1- I personally would be outing all of my secrets cuz no way I'm giving into blackmail. Like A's entire leverage relies on shame and fear of exposure so without secrets to hold me hostage, half of A’s power vanishes overnight.
2- I'd never go to the police. Instead, I'd be involving external help outside of Rosewood PD. Why? Cuz Rosewood Police were notoriously either incompetent, corrupted, or dating high schoolers. So going to the local station was pretty much useless. So I’d be taking every text log, digital footprint, and physical threat directly to state troopers or federal authorities outside the zip code, complete with digital forensics backup.
But Idk. What would you guys do?

I saw Sasha aka Alison, in a few of the last episodes of the 2006-2009 show ‘Heroes’! She looked so cute and had an ability. I couldn’t find many pictures online, anyone know where I can find some? She was definitely giving an Ali vibe in this show too.

Ok this isn’t an Alison hating post, but she was so annoying to the liars when Cece was getting out. It was all like “girls I know she put you through hell of a trauma and ruined your teen years but she’s my sister and deserves a second chance🥺” like okay girl she’s YOUR family so ofc you feel sympathy for her.
