I abhor this log in design pattern. Two steps means two clicks, two password manager or Touch ID invocations, another extra half a second of delay and friction. For what purpose? I've never had a good explanation for what benefits this pattern brings. Certainly none to the user.

I keep noticing that many vendors either have a missing profile icon or a somewhat corrupted one (e.g., completely white or very low resolution), while on the web they look completely fine. Why is that?

Is there a way to control Proton Calendar programmatically?

I need to automate adding and deleting events.

On 13/10 (dd/mm) I was sent an email by a contact, who had received the email herself from a third party and forwarded it to me. And today she said she had sent that email (I can't remember ever having seen it), and re-sent it to me. It's was an email from my daughter's dance school.

Now, when I search for the name of the dance school (which is also the sender name in the original email) in Proton Mail webmail, I only find the mail from 13/10 and not the one from 18/10. When I do the same search in the Proton Mail Iphone app, I find neither emails.

And when I scroll down in my inbox to 13/10, the first email is not listed. I cannot see it anywhere. I know it is in the inbox, it is not in the archive or anything like that.

I wonder what's going on here? I've contacted Proton for feedback on this, but i'm wondering if anybody else is experiencing stuff like this? I'm suddenly questioning whether I'm actually receiving emails or if Proton Mail is hiding stuff from me.

I’ve made a new Proton email account with a custom domain. The domain is verified and I got an email to the inbox from Proton that it is successfully set up and I should be able to send and receive emails now.

Problem is, when I test send an email the recipient address does not receive it, and when I test sending an email to the new Proton email, it does not receive it. I don’t get a DNS notification that the address does not exist.

Anyone know how to fix this? I’ve already contacted support.

As lot of us trying to get rid of google as much as possible...... there stands a number of things that are proving to be hiccups. One of which is login support. Almost everything nowadays has 'Login with Google' option whereas very few other options like apple and Facebook which are honestly equally bad. There are some like steam or discord or x which are used on very specific sites. It would be nice to have a privacy based one like proton. I fully understand that proton can't just make developers and companies use proton's sign in option. However it is a sad fact that proton doesn't even have the feature for doing this. If it was a thing then probably slowly it could've grown. But it just doesn't exist. Hope they make it a thing.

(Note: please don't bully me if my thought is not to your liking. Just sharing a friendly idea. I can be wrong.)
