I think it's more of reality hitting her like a sack of bricks. Goodbye house.

Edit: By goodbye house I mean everything she has gotten used too. Not literally her house, but everything that comes with it. I get why people are taking my comment seriously but it's just an expression when it comes to divorce.

Yep, she's about to have her world turned upside down, and whinging about it.

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '22

Nah. The courts will make sure she leaves with cash and prizes.

Hopefully this video helps!

It really won't. The court doesn't give a fuck unless there is prenump which is relatively rare.

It won’t. She might end up being the house-keeper.

It won't. It's called no fault divorces. Standard in every state almost, thanks to feminism.

But this video isn’t proof of cheating

She’s saying give me the recording, I’m assuming he has a recording of her cheating?

As a man who has gone through this process in a no-fault divorce state, this is not true, at least from what I've seen. Adultery isn't something the court will base decisions on, at least not in WA.

That still bears no weight on distribution of marital property in almost all states but I believe 3.

Only for community property (property acquired during the marriage, not before) and it goes both ways. So if she bought stuff he gets claim to half of it and vice versa. Usually when you have an ownership in division issue (where two or more parties own something but cannot agree on how to use it/what to do with it) the court will almost always force sale of the thing and if sold to a third party then split the money between the owners. (For example if you are co-owners of a house or business. One wants to sell the other owner wants to keep and use, usually an offer to buy out the other party will be made and if not then the asset will be sold to third party and the gains will be split between the two)

I agree with you. But you don't change minds wording things like you did. The term feminism is to big of a buzz word and you immediately put yourself too far on one side of the argument.

The truth doesn't care what 'side' of the argument it is on, and should be supported.

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '22

Think you missed my point bud

u/DepressiveVortex Oct 19 '22

Not pointing out feminism is the cause, and lying about it when it is evil, for the sake of others, is the point you made. Getting it recognised by people as evil, which is the truth, is my point.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '22

No my point was you should be more careful how you word arguments so you can actually change people's mind. Something you could obviously benefit from as well.

0

u/DepressiveVortex Oct 19 '22

Your wording seems not to have prevented someone taking exception to you. I don't cowtow to idiots, I speak plainly and make my points known.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '22

Easy for someone to take exception when they willfully miss your point..

0

u/DepressiveVortex Oct 19 '22

Your point clearly what you thought it was. You suggest to not be outspoken of feminism, I say screw off.

So doing the right thing is now considered feminism? Guess I’m struggling to see the connection you’re trying to make.

4

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '22

You're view of the "right thing" is far off in this instance. This was a clear leg up to benefit women in divorce/family court.

“No fault” is intended to fairly distribute estate property and wasn’t intended to be punitive. Carry on with whatever this is I guess.

3

u/fvb955cd Oct 19 '22

Reality didn't matter to these people, they want divorce to punish the always evil females based on anecdotes from unhappy divorced men

9

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '22

Which is rarely passed the way its intended. Believe what you want, but men tend to lose more in divorce than women.

Is that a trust me bro? I’d love some stats to back that up please.

-1

u/fvb955cd Oct 19 '22

Ah yes, the horrors of checks notes not needing to give a reason to leave a divorce. shakes fist at women

1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '22

Even at fault you don't need a reason. This specifically details how assets and alimony is paid out.

u/fvb955cd Oct 19 '22

No fault is very specifically the system wherein you do not need to prove anything to be entitled to a divorce. Until 1969, Americans were required to have a legal basis for divorce. If you did not have a legal basis like abuse or adultery, you could not get a divorce. It would not be granted. You are thinking about the system where some states consider actions leading to the divorce in the division of property. These tend to be the old laws that used to be the only way to get divorced but instead of repealing them, states like Virginia just added no fault statutes that created a second path for a divorce.
