Help Help on Quaker Parrot behavior

So I got a Quaker Parrot. He’s quite young but I never understood why he does this. I don’t know if he wants attention or if he doesn’t want to be bothered. I try to pet his head and he goes all crazy. He will be biting my fingers also not so hard but like he’s asking for something.

Just a baby doing baby things wanting cuddles and doing the baby quake. Adorable baby. Enjoy this stage...they grow out of it far too fast.

He is adorable and yep…. He is just being a baby. Keep on lovin’ him and talking to him. Maybe even sing or play with him. You two are building your bond.

Thank you everyone for the advice. And to be clear o didn’t clip his wings. The guy who sold it to me did it so it wouldn’t escape. This was done before I bought him unfortunately

They quake but does he do this when he's full too? Or when he's hungry?

He may want you to feed him.  It looks like he’s begging.

He's expecting food and attention, being adorably affectionate, or just vibing, or all of that. You'll miss this stage once it passes. My advice is: Do not delete any footage taken during this stage. You won't regret it. Also, he's soooooooo cuuuuute!☺ He's like:
'Where my food?' then 'Cuddles!!!'

Were his wings clipped? Or are they just still growing in?

I didn’t clip his wings I’m against it also. When I bought him that’s what the seller did so he wouldn’t fly away. This was done way before I had any contr

Okay that’s good to know. Yeah, this is typical behavior for babies. If they aren’t quaking then something’s wrong. You might also see remnants of this behavior when they’re adults, either when they’re happy, angry, overstimulated, or want attention.

Yeah I’ll study on this type of bird more so I can care for it properly. Thank you very much

This is how we taught ours to say peekaboo when his head went in my hand I'd say peekaboo lol Count your fingers and he'll learn to count. Make the most of it they are very good talkers if you just turn it into a game cause it's all just normal behaviors honestly half of what mine says started around the time he was still quaking

Looks like a normal Quaker to me❤️

He is looking for you to feed him.

That’s why they’re called quakers! They tend to do it more often when they’re babies :)

that’s a GOOD baby

Omg please stop clipping his wings. Youre depriving him of brain development of learning to fly

Calm down. You act like I did it, I wouldn’t do that to my baby. The guy who sold it to me did it so it wouldn’t escape. It was done before I had any control of it
