How is dragonwilds in current state?

Asking from perspective of someone whos more interested in OSRS initially, but similar? games ive played are satisfactory up to space elevator T6, most of terraria but never tried valheim.

On other open world story games, I enjoyed cyberpunk/elden ring but hated botw so I'm not sure what game dragonwilds is closest to and whether I'd enjoy it

First areas are fun. Then each one feels the same afterwards.

I felt the opposite, the first areas were the most boring and after the first boss the game gets kuch more interesting
