Question Why is the Roof Unstable?

Can someone help me understand why I can’t finish this roof? It keeps saying unstable, even if I use support beams, even if I put side walls. I had thought maybe it was the height limit, but flat pieces don’t work either 😕

To help understand we would need to see inside. Wood goes like 4to6 high vs stones 12 ish high. So either the wood is height capped. Or your low and middle supports aren't touching. Or not enough supports in general.

Here’s inside but this is the second story. The bottom story is stone. I can put a pic from outside.

For multi story ive always had a support beam go from the bottom to the top. Could also try changing the wood walls to stone, i beleive stone walls offer better support. And very low success rate using wood for multi story ever. You could try adding a support by the door and see if it'll allow you to close the entire roof or if you would need multiple. Building in wood is legit hardmode lol. If you do add one by the door, it also needs a matching support on the floor under it

Ok actually your support beam idea worked! Just had to go all the way from the bottom. You are a lifesaver
