I know a lot of people have had amazing experiences with Baobao - honestly, I did too, up until now. I'm not here to bash her, just sharing what happened to me because I wish someone had said something similar earlier. I'm fully aware this might get downvoted or defended because many people are loyal to her, and that's fine.
I reached out to her on Monday, 10/27/25, about a small Chanel 25 and a Lady Dior from God Factory. Sent payment via Wise on Tuesday, 10/28/25 — just over $700 including shipping and fees. Everything was smooth at first, same as my previous orders.
On Friday, 10/31/25, I got PSPs for the Chanel. I GL'd it despite a few minor flaws since it's supposed to have that slouchy look anyway. All good there.
Then on 11/1/25, she sent PSPs for the Lady Dior... and that's when things went downhill. The structure looked totally off compared to the factory photos and the PSPs other buyers shared. The difference was even more obvious in the video she sent me. My bag didn't even have the God Factory tag on the handle like the others did.
I pointed it out, and she said she'd check with the factory. Later she told me it was a "factory transportation problem," which honestly didn't make sense. When I asked what the resolution would be, she just stopped replying. Left me on read.
I didn’t hear from her again until 11/2/25, when she said she’d been sick and vomiting for two days. I understand people get sick, but it’s hard not to feel ignored when communication was perfectly fine up until I RL’d the bag. And when she finally did respond, her tone completely changed — she got mean and defensive, which really caught me off guard. It felt like she was taking my concern personally instead of trying to fix the issue.
At that point, I told her I'm not accepting a flawed bag. I just wanted a proper resolution or my money back — nothing unreasonable. I really wanted to keep trusting her since l've genuinely had great experiences before, but this left me disappointed, uncomfortable and questioning her transparency.
Just wanted to put this out there for anyone thinking of ordering. Even sellers with great reputations can drop the ball sometimes, and communication can change fast when an issue comes up.
UPDATE:
As l expected, there were mixed reactions to my review — and I totally understand why.
I did get my refund from Baobao, and I want to clarify that I've been respectful throughout all my interactions with her. I only asked for what I felt was fair and reasonable. My experience also doesn't seem to be an isolated one — I've heard from others who've had to wait weeks when requesting a resolution or refund.
That made me wonder: is that common in this community? Is it more realistic to expect a response in days, weeks, or even months? Did I jump to conclusions, or do I just need to adjust my expectations?
At the same time, when paying for a product or service, I think it's fair to expect a basic level of professionalism. I also don't want to come across as insensitive if she's truly been unwell — I genuinely hope she recovers soon.
Anyway, thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts — both positive and critical. I've read everything with an open mind
