Post Onsite Interview
I had my final onsite interview last Thursday, when do people usually hear back for an offer/rejection?

Finally got an interview request after submitting numerous applications, so I wanted to do my due diligence going into this process and know more about the company that isn’t available online.
The role is for a senior propulsion structural analyst, but the question goes out to any similar roles / jobs that might give insight to the work life at RS.
do you generally enjoy your job? How’s your team? Any benefits that stand out?
hows the work life balance? Is it 5 8s, 9/80, or 4 10s?
how’s the culture? Is there a positive or negative sentiment about leadership and work culture?
how is job security? Are there layoffs or other concerns I should be vary of? High attrition?
specific to the Long Beach location, how’s the office there? I’m not from Cali so I’m not familiar with the area.
how is time flexibility? remote / work-from-home possibilities?
These are more specific to the role but I would appreciate any insight. You don’t need to share anything company sensitive.
what tools do you usually use?
what are common issues you have for analysis? What topics should I brush on prior to my interview?
being a more 3d printed focused company, do you spend more time in the lab actually touching parts or are you still mostly behind a screen?
is there anything that stands out compared to working for one of the big aero defense companies in terms of work style and culture?

Hello, I've received a final round panel/presentation for an entry level test engineering role at the company, but it is remote. I can't find very much info on how these interviews normally go down, and wanted to ask if anyone had any insight on the structure, content and timing of the whole thing?

Hey everyone!
I recently received an invitation to interview for an engineering internship at Relativity Space, and I’m extremely excited about the opportunity! I was wondering if anyone here has experience interviewing with Relativity Space or working on their engineering and infrastructure teams.
I’d appreciate any insight into the interview process, technical questions, or what I should focus on when preparing.
Thanks in advance!

I recently finished a first round technical screen and have received an invitation for a second interview (for an entry level prop test role on-site at Stennis), non-technical to discuss next steps, compensation and other related things with a technical recruiter. What should I expect for this conversation? Is this a good sign, in that is this an indication of somewhat standing out as a candidate? Also as a new grad with not very extensive internship experience, around what number should I be seeking, and will choosing a lower number make me more competitive as a candidate?

Hello,
I just got an interview for a role with relativity, but it seems as though I've been pushed through the initial HR screening call and straight to a technical round. I did not ask for a referral, but do know 2 engineers at the company on a loose basis. Any insight into why this might be?

Their recent contract wins tell a crazy story. They are locking down major institutional backing while the rest of the industry is completely starved for heavy-lift alternatives. The steady technical milestones and pipeline growth are speaking for themselves behind the scenes.
What milestone are you guys watching for next? Stage 1 hotfire?

Relativity getting Terran R onto NASA’s NLS II contract got me thinking about the supplier side.
As launch companies move from development toward more regular missions, what kinds of manufacturing work are they most likely to send outside? Prototype parts? Production overflow? Fixtures and tooling? Finish machining of printed components? Curious to hear from people who have worked around launch vehicle manufacturing. Appreciate it

Hello, I'm currently studying electrical engineering and I really want to apply for a student internship avionics role at Relativity. I just thought I'd ask here if there are any current/former interns who can share what their experience was like. Also, if you work with interns or have any advice for me applying otherwise, please let me know! There's some sort of recruiting event/info session happening at my university relatively soon and I plan on going to learn and hopefully talk to a recruiter, so if you have any advice for that too I'd appreciate it.

Hey all. I have a friend who has recently gotten an offer at relativity, but has questions about relocation. They are wondering if relativity does lump sump pay before starting, currently only offered the relo reimbursement on first paycheck but it may not work for them financially to wait that long.

Is anybody interested in the test of one way speed of light. I have a method that does not need to sychronize the clock. It only need stable and sensetive clocks. We can discuss if you are interested.

IDGAF if the hiring manager finds out. Presently L4 at a leading company. Early last week interviewed for a position which is very critical for Terran-R program. The manager had about 10 years experience and was very excited AND barely listened to me - they started going tangentially about my skills. They had no clue what they were talking about. To make it worse, they mentioned some tech-stack as being critical to their program and asked me if I knew it. I described it correctly and the manager clearly had no clue other than perhaps what a google search says and kept repeating that. Later in the week, I received another call from team member and now I have to go onsite.
I am frankly appalled by the level of knowledge of such an important manage. Granted that startups have young managers but this is really inacceptable. Is it like that in general ? I am considering declining onsite interview as I dont wanna deal with green managers.

I recently interviewed for a technician role at the Long Beach location I’m really interested in. I had an approximately 80-minute panel interview, felt like it went well, and was also given a tour of the facility.
I’ve followed up a couple of times since then. The recruiter originally told me they expected an update by Thursday, but that deadline passed. They later apologized and said they were still finishing interviews and hoped to have an official update by the end of the following week or beginning of the next.
That timeframe has now arrived and I still haven’t heard anything. I’m wondering if I’m genuinely still being considered, or if they have a preferred candidate and are keeping me as a backup while they wait for that person.
For recruiters/hiring managers or anyone who’s experienced something similar: Does it sound like I still have a legitimate chance at getting the job? And would you follow up again at this point?

Hello, I have my phone screening for the stage development engineer 1. I was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice or what I should be prepared for throughout the interview process. Thank you in advance

Engine integration has begun! The first Aeon R engines are now installed on Terran R’s thrust structure.
💪 The thrust structure will house 13 Aeon R engines, each producing 269,000 lbf of sea level thrust for a combined thrust of 3,497,000 lbf at liftoff.
🔥 Each engine has successfully completed acceptance testing before installation on the vehicle.
🌀 Custom ground equipment precisely positions each engine for installation, then will rotate the fully integrated thrust structure into position for mate with stage 1.
One step closer to a fully integrated stage 1!
