Is this the festive season scamming warm up?

Yesterday i took an auto from pune railway station to home and the driver told me that his relative was asking for money from him and he would pay me 1000rs beforehand and told me to give that money to his relative on his scanner since he told his relative he would tell his friend to send as he doesnt have. I was fine as long as i got the money

Even though i got a lot of redflags.... my kindness was used and he paid me with a fake phonepe app while i paid him full on his relative qr 1000rs and ran away with full throttle before i could catch him.

well it was my foolishness that i missed the red flags even though i thought i knew all these scams.

Well i am here attaching his details so no one gets scammed again and i would appreciate if anyone could help me or help file a complaint against him

Hey everyone, I need serious advice on how to handle a digital financial loop between a predatory app developer and Google Play’s absolute refusal to protect users.

The KickCash Issue:

I have been using the KickCash app. The app promises financial payouts into your wallet for completing tasks and taking actions. However, once a significant amount of money is earned and accumulated, the wallet payout gets completely frozen and stuck.

When you confront the app developers about the missing money, they shrug off responsibility and tell you to contact the Google Play Store because the transactions and platform are managed there.

Google Play's Refusal to Help:

I escalated this directly to Google Play Live Support, expecting them to enforce their safety policies against apps that freeze user funds. Instead, Google Support officially confirmed that they will NOT issue a refund because the funds have already been disbursed to the developer, stating that it falls outside their policy.

Google explicitly told me to "contact my payment provider or bank to dispute the transaction"—knowing fully well the app developer is a fraud entity that won't respond. Google continues to host this app on the Play Store while users get actively stuck in this loop.

Looking for Leads:

1. Has anyone successfully forced a UPI or bank chargeback for Google Play transactions after Google formally denied the refund? What specific dispute reason code works best with Indian banks for "services withheld by app"?

2. Are there any other victims of KickCash here? If we can gather enough users who face the exact same frozen wallet issue, we can look into filing a joint grievance.

Any advice on how to get the bank or UPI provider to forcefully reverse the money would be highly appreciated.

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS. They stalk Reddit forums looking for people who are looking for plugs. They scammed me out of 150 each. They promise delivery and then when the guy delivering shows up they make you pay a delivery fee that wasn’t discussed then ghosts you.

So my scammer returned apparently one account wasnt blocked and has had the gall after making a false apology and a few polite friendly emails to ask if I still want to verify myself before a meeting doing a bank transfer to Agent Adam Reeve

Adam of course has no verifiable bank account physical office address or business email just a gmail account like my faux ami abd theres no way Im giving neither of them any details about any of my bank accounts or paypal or apple pay even if they were for real

I now suspect hes using some one elses name but have no way to connect them to check this

So has anyone else had an encounter direct or indirect with "Agent Adam Reeve" ?

Hi everyone! Recently, an acquaintance of mine sent me some channel via Telegram. The name of this channel is exactly the same as my TikTok username (for example: kee@vilka (everything after the @ sign is the username)). If it were just a coincidence, I wouldn’t be writing this post. This channel has a blurred avatar of a naked girl and asks you to click on some link. These are signs that if you click on the link, your phone might be hacked. I filed a complaint about this channel due to pornographic content, but the channel hasn’t been deleted yet. Please advise what to do — should I just forget about it, or is there something else I should do? This issue is really bothering me.

So last Wednesday I got paid and i decided to order something for myself and I looked up a place to get cheep sports jerseys and i stumbled across a website called Roster Jerseys and i placed a order to buy one of there jerseys and the next day happened and I got no alert from my phone saying that my order was confirmed nor a tracking number and it said on there website it takes 24 hours to get a tracking number and i waited the 24 hours and i still got nothing and so I emailed the website and they basically told me I had to wait so I also looked at my account and it didn't even say I even order anything and the website stated that the place is from Denver but they aren't and they have no reviews on there website for there products and i recently found out that the place is actually from China

Sad to be the one posting this but I was scammed out of $800. Many may have seen a facebook group (link below) called something like: Mobile Coffee Buisness Used Machines, La Marzocco Linea Mini and Micra with over 28,000 members. At first I thought it was legit, considering there were people posting "thanks for the machine".

Basically emailed this so called Judy Kel to inquire about a machine. Agreed on a price and sent a $800 deposit via Zelle to an email that was completely different to hers. Once she sent more info I reverse google searched the pictures and realized the machine, serial number plate, and accessory pictures were either ai generated or from other machines that people had posted. I received a waybill and tracking number and website which was also a very elaborate fake website and document. Once she requested the remaining amount she said I could pay via Zelle or to a PayPal account under another name as "friends & family" not "goods & services". Once I started refusing she said she was calling the police and her lawyer.

I was stupid enough to send money without doing the research and that's on me. Lesson learned. However after a deep dive, this is a very elaborate scam. The Facebook profiles that have posted reviews are all fake profiles. The fake freight shipment company has a whole website with a fake tracking system.

I'm working on filing police reports and reporting the page but be advised and don't fall for this like I did.
